here is a classic don't try this at home stunt. these daredevils jumping, partially collapsed bridge, north of charlotte, north carolina, of course. they used dirt bikes and home made ramps to jump a 60-foot gap. apparently no one got hurt. police are now looking for the men who could now face charges. former vice president joe biden launching a political action committee today. this could mean he is considering a run for the white house in 2020. the pac will allow him to remain active in the democratic party, raise money for candidates and maintain relationships with donors. biden is 74 years old. he has said in the past he probably won't run. but he hasn't ruled it out. to disturbing discovery at national museum of african american history and culture in washington, d.c. visitors found a noose on the floor in a gallery and exhibit on segregation. condemned it as an act of hatred and intolerance.

good morning on this thursday. i'm kendis gibson. >> i'm diane macedo. here are some of the top headlines we are following on "world news now." president trump is set to make his decision today on the paris climate agreement. sources say the president will make good on a campaign promise by pulling the u.s. out of the deal. but some top aides and big companies are lobbying for him to stay. much more coming up. >> state of ohio is suing five drugmakerers accusing them of creating the state's opioid epidemic. the suit claims the company's intentionally misled patients about dangers of painkillers. most drugmakerers declined to comment about the suit. the company that makes epipens accused of overcharging taxpayers by more than $1 billion. the drugmakerer agreed to pay the government less than half of that amount to settle claims it overcharged medicaid. and our heroes are falling.

>> candidate trump promised to pull the united states out of the deal which is aiming to cut carbon emissions. sources say the president is likely to just do that. he plans to announce it to the world this afternoon from the white house rose garden. administration officials are split on what the president should do, nearly every country in the world has signed on to that agreement. >> congress is trying to determine if there was another undisclosed meeting between jeff sessions and russian ambassador sergey kislyak. lawmakers want to know if the men spoke when they beth attended a campaign event in spring of last year. but the justice department insists there were no private meetings or conversations with any russian officials. abc's lana zach has more on another former associate of the president caught up in the russia probe. >> reporter: democrats push back on allegations they're delaying public testimony of carter page, a former foreign policy adviser for the trump campaign. page sent ape letter to intelligence committee,

reiterating eagerness to have an open meeting to address false or misleading testimony about him. the president tweeted his support for page wednesday morning, calling the investigation a witch-hunt. but the ranking democrat on the house intelligence committee pushed back saying the committee intends to review documents before calling witnesses and "the pace of the interviews dictated by the needs of the investigation, and not the preferences of outside parties." also, haunting the white house, questions about the president's son-in-law, jared kushner and his dealings with the russian bank. known to the fbi as a base for russian spies. including this one, who is back in moscow after pleading guilty and spending time in a u.s. prison. >> this was an actual trained operative, spy operation, in new york. targeting human assets. >> but the president maintains the russian investigations are a lame excuse by democrats for why they lost the election. a sentiment echoed by russian president vladamir putin. he told reporters the allegations against his government are a fictional

excuse by those who lost the election. the white house spokesman, sean spicer asked about reports that james comey former fbi director has been cleared to testify publicly before the senate. and that he intends to address accounts about whether or not the president pressured him to drop the flynn investigation. spicer referred all of those questions to outside counsel. lana zach, abc news, washington. lana, thanks. passenger aboard a malaysia airlines flight is speaking out after another passenger threatened to blow up the plane with a bomb. a man who police describe as mentally ill got up from his seat on the flight from melbourne, australia. then rushed to the cockpit door, claiming he had a bomb. that's when brave passengers tackled him and tied him up with belts. >> he was serious. he was a threat. which was not great. and -- i backed away. informed my passengers, fellow passengers around me, we had a serious situation.

started down the back of the aisle. he ended up being apprehended by a group of young guys, at the back of the plane, did a terrific job of subduing him. >> the flight was a few minutes into heading to another region, it returned where heavily armed police carried the passenger off the plane. they determined the incident is not terror related but under investigation. newly released video providing a one of a kind look at the massacre at the pulse nightclub in orlando. images come from body cameras that were worn by police who rushed into the club, not realizing the extent of the horror they would find inside a year ago this month. abc's brian ross has exclusive interviews with the brave officers. >> reporter: this is what orlando police officers saw and heard as they raced inside the pulse nightclub. the body cam videos capturing the urgency of the hunt for the active shooter.

stay there. not a single officer retreats. then the final breach, mateen comes out shooting. one officer is hit in the helmet. >> probably within an inch of losing his life. the other officers there returned fire killing the suspect. >> brian ross, abc news, orlando. near chicago, 16-year-old girl held accused in the murder of her uber driver. the memorial day attack on grant lawson was unprovoked. the high school student, lisa wasney attacked him with a stolen knife and machete moments after getting in the vehicle. wasney has no prior record, she's charged with first degree murder and charged as an adult. a man in the meantime is accused in the dragging death of a michigan trooper and now been found not guilty. charles warren jr. collapsed after the verdict was read outside of detroit. in 2015, warren's trailer hit the trooper, chad wolf on motorcycle parole. 71-year-old not realizing what

happened dragging wolf nearly four miles. he faced 15 years behind bars. video of tiger woods' arrest shows him dazed and disoriented. police dash cam video was shot as officers in florida put woods through a sobriety test. you can hear him slurring his speech and appears to lose his balance. tests prove he had not been drinking. woods says his condition was caused by combination of prescription medications. his next court appearance scheduled for early july. so, babies, they grow up fairly big. including this 4-month-old, 270-pound toddler. >> there she is. that's fiona the hippo. first media availability yesterday at the cincinnati zoo. born six weeks premature, by the way. in january, she weighed in at just 29 pounds. which is apparently really small for a baby hippo. usually weigh 50-120 pounds. >> good lord. zoo officials say fiona isn't

abc news learned comey will testify in an open congressional hearing as early as next week. sources say special counsel robert mueller approved comey's testimony if he doesn't discuss the trump russia probe evidence. comey expected to talk private meetings with the president and that could include memos that comey wrote after the discussions. congress is looking into another possible meeting between attorney general jeff sessions and russian ambassador sergey kislyak. the lawmakers want to know if the men spoke during an april 2016 trump event in washington, d.c. department of justice denied sessions met privately with any russian officials at the event. but during his confirmation hearings, sessions failed to disclose two meetings with kislyak. more than 200 days since the presidential election and we're still apparently talking about it. hillary clinton says she believes, russian interference was one key factor behind her loss. and she says, that they likely had help from inside the u.s. all playing out at the conference in california. clinton laid out factors she believes cost her the election including focus on her private

so we are going to tackle that with new version of lasagna with believe it or not. eggplant. not that eggplant. start cutting it into thin slices. i like to use the mandolin. you get pretty, perfect slices. or sometimes not so much. all right. eggplant noodles are done. prep the meat. we'll start off with -- green pepper. or, really, any bell pepper you like. and onion. now i cut a little flat spot on the onion. you know how tv people magically chop onions without crying. i didn't get the memo. i'm just so sad. i love lasagna so much. to get around the tears, chop onions and peppers in bulk. freeze them in ice cubes. next time you need them, thaw in the microwave and you're good to go. waiting for onions to soften.

try to clean as i go. in the end, the kitchen is pretty clean. just make sure you remember to check on the pan. oops. i let the onions cook longer than i wanted. that's okay. pop in the peppers. and, we can add in our meat. this is 96% lean ground beef. most lasagnas you have, have a fatty cut of beef. you don't need it. once the meat starts to brown, add two cups of low calorie tomato sauce if you can get the jar open. ♪ hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah ♪ >> next step. layer. you want to get your trays out. i like using glass baking dishes. go in the freezer and in the

oven as well as the the microwave when you want to reheat this. now we start assembly line. remember the ugly pieces. throw them at the bottom. no one is going to see them. no one will know they're there. from here, we go meat. now it is time for the cottage cheese. and the prep here can be pretty tough. so watch closely. ready. that's it. whew. traditional lasagna, use ricotta, with cottage cheese, lower the calorie count significantly, get ton of nutritional value out of it. extra protein. repeat same steps, second layer. top with layer of egg plant, sauce, low fat mozzarella. bake it. 350, 30 minutes. we'll be done. kitchen is clean. and we have. seven minutes left. however shall we pass the time? ♪ dancing with myself ♪ dancing with myself staring contest. ♪ ready to see the final product? tah-dah.

here is a classic don't try this at home stunt. these daredevils jumping, partially collapsed bridge, north of charlotte, north carolina, of course. they used dirt bikes and home made ramps to jump a 60-foot gap. apparently no one got hurt. police are now looking for the men who could now face charges. former vice president joe biden launching a political action committee today. this could mean he is considering a run for the white house in 2020. the pac will allow him to remain active in the democratic party, raise money for candidates and maintain relationships with donors. biden is 74 years old. he has said in the past he probably won't run. but he hasn't ruled it out. to disturbing discovery at national museum of african american history and culture in washington, d.c. visitors found a noose on the floor in a gallery and exhibit on segregation. museum officials have condemned it as an act of hatred and intolerance.
