another problem spot in the east bay, westbound 80 near 580, two left lanes are blocked here with a big rig accident and they are going to do a break at carlson, and chp will be doing a break, so right now not seeing any slow traffic on the sensors because it's early but we will follow this most of the morning and let you know. >> thank you, sue. developing news in the east bay, a police chase ends in gunfire. >> witnesses say they heard dozens of shots. the driver police were chasing was hit multiple times. we're live in martinez. jeanine? >> reporter: we're just off of 680 and pacheco boulevard and this is still a very active police investigation. they have cri up because this is the area where police shot the suspect and he's at a local hospital with serious injuries. the 20-year-old was chased and

got away days ago, and then police tracked him to an address on ellis road last night at 9:30, and he tried to escape again by ram into a patrol car and that's when officers opened fire. >> there were 30 shots off, not exaggerating, 30 shots. >> reporter: police say officers fired because they feared for their lives. he was taken to the hospital for treatment. a vallejo police officer was also treated and released from the hospital. this shoot something being investigated by the contra costa sheriff's office and district attorney's office and we asked if there was anybody here on scene that could talk to us so we are waiting to see if we could get more details.

abc7 news. crews were racing to get a connecter ramp re-open in time for the morning commute after it was closed all day yesterday due to a toxic spill. crews worked through the night to clean up 500 gallons of acid that leaked on a big rig. it did re-open around 2:00 this morning, and it had been closed 14.5 hours. it caused a lot of headaches for drivers yesterday. 300 gallons went into the dirt, and they will be working on that problem later today but none of it went into the water wells. planned parenthood is closing three locations in the area, in richmond, pi pittsburg. the clinics will close at the end of the month, and that will leave 20 planned parenthoods in

the northern california district. and then making a decision on whether the u.s. will remain part of the paris climate agreement. it appears he may opt to walk away from that deal. a friend of the president and ceo of news max media appeared on "gma" is morning to talk about another option. >> he should kick it over to the senate, and there should be a treaty discussion on it and modifications. if china is not implementing ours until 2030, why should we do it until 2025. >> and ivanka and her husband wants to stay in the deal. musk threatened to leave the president's advisory counsel if he backs out of the accord. and there's a special report on the president's decision, which
