vandals broke a lock around the tank and sprayed zbra fity. >> it was a jm. a big jm. we don't know what that means t. police department are investigating right now. >> reporter: preliminary water quality testing doesn't show contamination. as a precaution, water officials flushed out thousands of gallons of water from the tank. cal water is also asking customers not to drink the water for now. >> i am hoping to hear it's okay. but now i'm kind of leery. if i have to come back tomorrow to get another case, we get another case. we have gone without water before. i think we can manage this. >> reporter: they will update the situation once final results are back saturday afternoon. 8:02 is our time. five bay area restaurants may have served ahi tuna containing hepatitis a. hawaii-based helo company,

distributed it to these restaurants last month. the blue hawaii cafe all if san francisco, fenix and san rafael and noeni's in san carlos. it includes, fever, loss of appetite and stomach pain. no illnesses have been reported. 14 people were poisoned after eating toxic death cap mushrooms in the bay area t. poisonings all happened last december a. new report released says three people needed liver transplants, including an 18th month old girl. that toddler has permanent damage to her nervous system. the mushrooms flourish in the wild wet winter months. a san jose basketball player arrested for a violent robbery has been kick offend the team. terrell brown was taken into custody in union city along with four other people in the attack one week ago. abc news reporter katie marzulo

has the details. >> we were under the assumption this was a random act of violence. we believe this was premeditated. >> reporter: union city place say san jose basketball player terrell brown was a part of a group that beat up a man. their victims, and an exgirlfriends lured him and attacked him and stole his belt and wallet. they were arrested after using thinks credit card at and in and out burger. >> they were arrested, he iechded them. we think the girlfriend set there all in motion. so we arrested her for the same crimes. >> reporter: this is youtube video of his san rafael basketball game t. university leased a statement that reads, terrell brown, who completed his freshman year at san jose state university as a member of the men's basketball team, was dismissed from the team today for violating team rules. the news was just starting to reach students on summer break. he definitely had a lot of

investigating a possible hate crime after a pride flag was burned in front of the mayor's home. for years it flew outside her home, she found it thursday morning burnt to pieces. science promoting unity and inclusion were also cut up in front of her home. mayor harmon is spending a strong message saying love is greater than hate and fear. it's been nearly six months since the devastating fire at the ghost ship collected in oakland. yesterdays was the last day for those that lost loved ones in the fire. i-team reporter dan miller looks at the possible criminal and civil charges. >> i found a restoration crew hired by insurers at the ghost ship this week. they say they can't what it to take the building down, it would be best for everyone. the civil cases must play out. robert weissberg is head of the

criminal center in stanford. >> so many people and the district attorney has to make decisions of how many people to charge. >> you say it's not a question of if charges are coming but how many people will be charged? >> that's my supposition. >> reporter: he believes charges are certain because of the conditions at the ghost ship that led to the fire t. haphazard electrical wiring that sparked t.rvs parked inside the building t. artwork and collected junk. the rickety staircase made out of wooden pellets and may have been possible. he believes many complaints were made the to the building's owners and the man who leased the warehouse about the dangers there. >> the manslaughter charges and probably manslaughter convictions seem extremely likely here. this is as egregious a case as homicide liability for a fire. >> the alameda county district attorney's office would not give me a date for charging in the case. they say they have a team of

multiple attorneys, advocates, all dedicated to this matter and are conducting a thorough criminal investigation. the owner declined to comment, where now the defense attorney are working for the man who leased the building. they released this report from an unnamed electrical expert claiming the fire started in the building next door. said the reasonable doubt here is overwhelming. >> that should close all criminal charges and the atf rlt could not conclude where the fire originated. >> the fire absolutely did not start in the bidding next store. >> on the civil side, mary alexander is the lead plaintiff's attorney, she's filed this complaint, naming the building's owner, the man that ran ghost ship, pg & e and many others. he is working with lawyers for other victims. i reached derek almena and his wife several years ago through facebook. they would not comment directly

picture. we'll continue to see these clouds scatter at 10:00/11:00. for everyone, it is a cloudy start this morning. we will see cooler weather this week, anywhere from 5 to 8 degrees cooler, tomorrow the coolest day, monday, that will take us into tuesday. so the hour by hour forecast, we got sunshine in our east bay, within the next hour-and-a-half or so then it continues to slowly work towards the coast. it will probably take until 1234506789 we see the sun around pacifica. but it will be on the cool side, upper 60s to low 50s. if you are thinking of going to the beach, take the shades and temperatures are in the low 60s around ocean beach. you get down to santa cruz, 73 will feel nice. still five degrees cooler than yesterday. check out napa, upper highs should be advertised in the upper 70s. that's where we will be today and tomorrow. then we warm up to temperatures in the '80s monday and tuesday.
