italian. he was stopped by italian authorities on his way to turkey and presumably syria last year. media reports there are saying that zaghba was an italian who was on their watch list in italy and that moroccan and british authorities were warned about him. zaghba moved to london later, he was working at a restaurant there and lived in east london. he hadn't been in italy since 2006 but, again, on the radar of italian authorities before this attack. reggie, back to you. san francisco police are looking for two adults who were seen abandoning a young boy by the side of the road just after 6:00 last night at slope boulevard and the great highway. this is close to the san francisco zoo. medics from the fire department witnessed what happened. they called police and the child wasn't hurt. the adults drove away and police say they possibly had another child inside the car. the judge in the sierra

lamar murder trial is expected to sentence her killer in september. yesterday, a jury recommended a sentence of life without parole for antolin garcia-torres. last month, he was convicted of murdering the morgan hill teen. sierra lamar's parents with disappointed he avoided the death penalty. >> i would be lying if i didn't say i was disappointed in the verdict. his family doesn't grieve. we'll grieve for the rest of our lives. >> i feel at peace that he will not be on the streets and arm another child. but the angst will be in our lives forever. nothing will take that away. garcia or t deserved leniency because he was abused as a child and exposed to pesticides. an arraignment for the man of killing an australian tourist in san francisco.

it's 6:15. we have new details on the disastrous i.t. meltdown that left 75,000 british airways passengers stranded. according to the bbc, the i.t. glitch two weeks ago was caused by human error. the head of british airways parent company iag says an engineer disconnected a power supply. that wasn't the issue. the damage was caused when was reconnected in an uncontrolled way. the mistake caused major disruptions and bay area travelers felt it, too. iag says an investigation is under way to learn from the experience. a high school teacher in the east bay died a day after retiring and we are seeing the true impact he had on his students. a go fund me page for eric theil has reached nearly $25,000 in one day. his last day at amador valley

derrington clark. she was taken into custody by police in colton just south of san bernardino. they had been looking for the person responsible for the attack since yesterday when it happened. her 18-month-old granddaughter died, her other grandchild and daughter remain hospitalized in critical condition. one neighbor said the daughter told her that her mother was a bipolar schizophrenic. natasha? >> what a heartbreaking story. thank you, jessica. several people are facing trespassing charges for staging a protest inside of san francisco's immigration building. this was taken inside of the building by one demonstrator before they were arrested yesterday. they want the release of two construction workers detained at travis air force base. their lawyer filed a motion to stay their deportation. neither construction worker is eligible to plead their case before a judge because they were deported 15 years ago and then reed into the country illegally. happening today, a surprise appearance by former first lady michelle obama at apple's worldwide developers' conference

the bay area man who owns the largest private collectionover "star wars" memorabilia needs your help. steve sansweet says a trusted friend stole pieces worth about $200,000 from his collection. police arrested that friend and another "star wars" enthusiast but another 120 pieces are still missing. >> we were totally devastated that someone we considered part of the family, someone that stayed with us, someone that we shared meals with would do something like that. >> some of the items stolen are 40 years old including a wind up r2-d2 and a cardboard death star. sansweet hopes the items will be recovered. and look at this, mark hamill suggested the list of stolen items be published for the "star wars" community to be on the lookout. the stanford marching band will be able to hit the road again. the school has lifted the sanctions it imposed in january after it found the ban violated the campus alcohol policy.
