cover and we could see fog off the coast and inland as well. gray skies are above, and great news, though, watch as the cloud cover quickly breaks down and sunshine will prevail later on this afternoon with comfortable temperatures in the 60s and 70s. let's get a check of traffic with alexis. >> a live look outside with the bay bridge toll plaza. i think we are going to get a few extra minutes before those flip on this morning. on fridays we have the lighter commute with folks stretching it out into a three-day weekend here. westbound 80, highway 4 to the maze, 16 minutes. and 90 minutes between francisco and sfo. tonight the warriors have a chance with ultimate redemption. they can sweep the cavs -- there we are, and they with win their second championship in three years.

amy hollyfield is live at the airport. >> reporter: yeah, i just talked to him and he's on his way here and we will be here within the hour and will catch a flight cleveland. justin lou has done this before. we caught up with him two years ago when he went to cleveland for a game. they won the championship that year and he didn't go last year and we all know what happened, so this year he feels like it's his duty to be there, and he booked a ticket right after game three. price line is saying flying to cleveland and page for your ticket and paying for a hotel is cheaper than going to a game at oracle. and he backs that up. he doesn't have game tickets yet and plans to buy those when he gets there, and he does think the warriors will win tonight

and clinch the championship. amy hollyfield, abc7 news. >> and the coverage of game four of the nba finals starts tonight at 5:30 here on abc7, and before that you can join beil and mike shumann at 5:00 p.m. police in the south bay area looking for the person that set this fire and a string of others. six fires were set in san jose in just a day. abc7 news reporter has the story. >> reporter: caught on camera just before 4:00 a.m. on willow street near vine. watch the top of the screen. you see somebody on the bicycle ride up to the dumpster and the person pauses there and then rides away and moments later flames. his home was in harm's way.

said she was grabbed near the cal campus. police tracked down the suspect yesterday thanks to the victim. she managed to take a photo of the suspect with her phone after he says she groped her. berkeley police arrested him on sexual battery charges. san francisco police released a mugshot of a man that killed a australian tourist. he faces assault and battery for he faces assault and battery for the death of 33-year-old matthew bate. he punched him and he fell downstairs, and he claims it was self defense. and then a 22-year-old garcia of hayward had been in critical condition, and we just got word that he was pronounced dead on saturday. the other victims of the crash were

president trump is responding to the james comey testimony. he tweeted out despite so many false statements and lies total and complete vindication, and wow, comey was a leaker. and multiple sources say he did not watch for an extended period, and it was the first day since april 15th that the president did not send out a single tweet. the senate wants to review james comey's memos and notes that he talked about at length in yesterday's testimony. in yesterday's testimony. moments ago on politicalists said how this is far from over. >> the president of the united states declaring he was total

francisco on westbound 80, and so as you come into the city here we are starting to see a delay. sounds like one vehicle has a blown out tire and possibly a broken axil off of ninth street. and i don't think this was a collision. it's not being reported as one yet and we are seeing a little backup. traffic came from a little further back. not seeing the backup yet, but if that's blocking for long, we could see that cause of delay. a quick check of the south bay. 101 and 880, and we are looking fine and nice and quiet and don't have any issues so far this morning. hearing of a new problem in the north bay, we will check on that coming up next. and then the auction to have lunch with warren buffett is up to $2 million and the proceeds coming to san francisco. and then the first gender neutral gym. neutral gym. how it aims to set a new

and then summer-like warmth to finish off the 7-day. let's get to traffic with alexis. >> i have a few issues to get to. one crash in the north bay, southbound 101 at the north end of the robin williams tunnel. a two-car crash and sounds like the first vehicle spun out and lost control and then was hit by a second vehicle. doesn't sound too serious. i believe everybody is okay and no injuries reported yet. and we do have a backup starteding to form. also this trouble spot, westbound 80 past ninth street as you get into san francisco. we have a disabled vehicle, blown out tire and possibly a broken axil as well blocking the left lane and that backup continues to go, too. if you are coming through the santa cruz mountains past the summit, another new crash blocking the far left lane. i will have an update on the bay bridge coming up in ten. in today's "gma" first look,

for a place to live after a fire in the tenderloin area this morning. one person is recovering from smoke inhalation. antioch police calling the death of this 15-year-old boy a tragic accident. he was shot in the chest with a pullet gun while playing in the house. and then looking for suspected arsonist in san jose. there's a fire near willow and vine, which was one of six fires set in the area on wednesday. and then responding to james comey's testimony, and the president sent a tweet saying total and complete vindication, and wow, comey is a leaker. number five, we're starting off with a lot of cloud cover off with a lot of cloud cover out there, and live look at the

another vehicle hit that. last time we checked we did not have a backup and now you can see that's heavy get into sausalito. did look like a lot of damage done to the vehicles and the people inside were okay. and then the bay bridge backup, you are heavy back to treasure island and giving you the thumbs up and the traffic has cleared. give it another 15 or 20 minutes and hopefully it will be back in the green. next traffic update coming up in less than ten. rescued at least six people from a burning building in the tenderloin. the fire broke out on the second floor of the building. three people are now displaced and evacuating the residents was a bit of a problem at first because everybody was sleeping when this fire started before 1:00 a.m. people were also disoriented because of all the smoke. a family pet, a cat, did not survive, and it looks like everybody else is okay.

manslaughter. prosecutors say they converted the warehouse into illegal living spaces, and harris organized the concert that took place the night of the massive fire in december. this morning antioch police are calling the death of a 15-year-old boy a tragic accident. garcia was shot by a friend with a pellet gun yesterday and he was rushed to the hospital where he died. garcia was shot in the chest while the boys were playing inside this house. one >> i did not know how long he was breathing for. >> i didn't think a bb gun could kill him. >> friends say they don't know who owned the pellet gun and right now they are focusing on remembering garcia, and they say he was good at soccer and loved to laugh. and then a 24-year-old man and then a 24-year-old man was arrested

looking at shattered car windows and then took him into custody. rain yesterday caused a mudslide to move on a section of this highway. last night caltrans closed the section five miles east of riverton. and officials say crews will be working for the next few days to clear more than 50 truckloads of debris. good morning. the time is 5:38 a.m., and live doppler 7 along with satellite tracking leftover cloud cover from yesterday's showers. and a lot of low cloud cover early this morning, and that's keeping temperatures on the mild side. look at the numbers. a lot of spots on the 60s at this hour.

as far as injuries, but they were able to clear that to the alexander avenue off-ramp. we are up to 42 miles per hour, and about a mile and a half of backup out of sausalito. that's going to improve soon. seeing the clouds hanging around, a little fog here for the bay bridge commute, and speeds slowly starting to increase as we head into san francisco. i was telling you about the disabled vehicle that cleared around nineth street and that's the cause of the delay from treasure island. the backup certainly not all the way to the toll plaza here but those were flipped on at 5:27 this morning, so things are ramping up if you are commuting in from the east bay. if you had a package stolen in the east bay it could be right here, the big find alameda police just uncovered. police say a fire that gutted this housing complex under at ikea, we believe that everything you need

a reward being offered to catch the arsonist. and then dozens of stolen packages found, 41 in a storage unit. they think they were taken from the porches of east bay homes between the beginning of march and the end of may. there was a man caught, and he is currently being held in connection with the thefts. police say he's a transient. investigators want to hear from you if you were expecting a package but never got it. and then getting closer to a deal on the state budget as next week's budget deadline approaches. it includes a boost to spending on social services and expanding a tax credit for the working poor and the panel replaced restrictions on the office of the uc president after a scathing audit.

lawmakers will lose their pay until the budget is approved. it may seem like good and clean fun but neighbors in north berkeley are getting annoyed somebody is putting soap in the fountain. it was vandalized again this week, and here's why it's so annoying. it's connected to the storm drain system so they can't just let all the water out because it goes into the bay, so even with the help of volunteers it costs the city about 1,000 bucks every time and days to clean it up, so just stop doing it. there is no doubt there are warriors fans across the nation, but did you know what a big fan base we had in china? >> not until now. it's not just a cultural exchange between china and the u.s., it's a huge moneymaker, and the warriors have capitalized. players like steph curry seem to
