>> it's good to have you with us on this saturday, june 10th wer. san francisco police are investigating after a patrol vehicle rolled over and landed on top of its roof. two officers were involved in the crash before 8:00 last night. abc 7 news spoke with a witness driving behind the squad car right before the crash. >> the police car was driving fast in the number one lane and the football two lane. one lanes in front of the police car. the siren wasn't activated. >> police say the officer driving tried to pass that car when the squad vehicle passed the boulder in the central median and flipped over. both officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

>> the officers done appear to be on a call at this time. so we're trying to understand where they're going and what they were doing. >> police are looking for more witnesses as well as under surveillance video in the area to help with the investigation. 5:02 is our time. in the south bay, police are looking for a drone pilot that caused a power out annual. katie marzulo has the details. >> there were sparks in the theater. we just we heard a loud sound. >> reporter: she was work as an usher at the mountain view performing arts center when the lights went out. the show could not go on. the public library was also evacuated, but without power, staff couldn't use the announcement system. >> the staff went in the corners and crannies of the library to find people who had some flashlights and we also used our phones, they have a good strong

flashlight on the phones to make sure everybody was out. >> reporter: this is the evidence miss are working with. >> we were able recover a very, very burned drone and right now we're trying to figure out who owns the drone, where it was flying, why it was in that area. >> witnesses told police they saw a man with a light hair driving a hashback flying a drone shortly before the addage. the faa does not allow drones to fly near people and they must be clear of obstacles. >> reporter: pg & e says 16 examiners lost power. anyone with information about the drone pilot is asked to call mountain view police. >> happening today, two groups of protesters will express their very different views in santa collar. >> reporter: a group called act

custody, drive e detectives say strangely the suspect hung around. >> after the attack, he didn't flee, he stayed in the area, so on top of that, it's another unusual circumstance. >> reporter: the teenager is a taylor middle school student. as for his attacker, he's in san mateo county jail. detectives say they're trying to figure out who he is and why he randomly attacked a kid. >> the woman sexually assaulted by droektor roman -- director roman polanski yesterday asked the judge to remove the case. she said wants an outright dismissal or have him sentenced without him being present. he repeated requests for the same ruling have been denied t. judge did not issue an immediate ruling. >> i am standing there saying, he serves his sentence. i never asked anybody and he was
