chaos on transit, especially one th system. abc7 news's leslie brinkley is niot at the epicenter bart leslie? >> reporter: good afternoon. i can give you some of the tips bart offered up to us today. they said avoid this lake merritt station on parade day. it is likely to close early and trains could even bypass it. it is one of many tips they offered out to commuters and parade goers. thursday, they said, let's just be civil and roll with the changes. barton thursday will certainly break record ridership set during the last warriors parade and the san francisco giants 2012 world series win. >> in 2015 the crowd estimate was that a million people came to oakland to witness the parade and the rally. this year therojectionsth aat. we've heard numbers as high as a million and a half to 2 million people.orr: all bart morning

commuters are being forewarned. leave by 7:00 a.m. or you could get caught up in the crush of fans. bart is removing nine trains thursday morning from the pittsburgh/bay point line to handle warrior crowds in oakland. and half the trains from fremont warm springs to san francisco will be diverted to th rter sta even cross the bay. bart says they guarantee that line a mshinets will be insanely long. buy a ticket or clipper card in advance and exit at higher capacity stations at 12th street and 19th street downtown oakland. crowds mean bart may selectively close the lake merritt station even though it's actually closer to the rally. the inconveniences will start on wednesday at 2:00 for a-c transit riders. six lines will be by parade day, 19 lines will be rerouted around downtown oaklnd. >> lysking riders to do is build more time

h easpedevelopmentsthn i one suspect out on a staggering $35 million bail. that another suspect in the case was granted the same bail. a san mateo county judge granted kaveh's request for bail this morning. he still needs to raise enough money t cover that $35 million bail. he along with his girlfriend tiffany lee and another man are charged with murdering keith green of millbrae last year. green was lee's ex-boyfriend. prosecutors opposed today's decision. >> his retained attorney has been paid for by tiffany lee's family. and now we'll see, does that family want to help him with his bail situation? >> lee bailed out of jail in april by posting more than $60 million in property. the heiress is expected back in court next month.
