one proud mom is telling us about how her daughter saved a stranger's life about a flight out of oakland this month. leslie got the story on this emergency. >> it started out as a normal flight from oakland to chicago on june the 6th for souter anderson and her daughter, kim ber ly, who was en route to visit family, but halfway through the flight, there was an urgent announcement. >> is there a doctor or a nurse on this plane.

there is an emergency. >> susan anderson says her daughter, a registered nurse, was the only licensed medical professional on the flight. a middle-aged woman went into an flakt tick shot. >> could not breathe. she was struggling and feeling ill and shutting down. it was a dire emergency. >> pilot prepared for an emergency landing as the flight crew pulled out a first aid kit with off brand epipens in it. the first one did not work. the sec one did and the woman started breathing. another passenger offered benadryl. >> they called my daughter an angel. she was truly an angel. she saved a life. she saved a life. it was, i was so proud of her. >> anderson says her daughter is traveling out of the country now.

she decided to share her story and warneded those with sere allergs to always carry emergency injeks with them. police in the east bay have arrested four women accused of stealing $3,000 worth of clothing from victoria's secret. walnut creek police say the women robbed the broadway plaza location of the chain as well as another store in concord. on facebook, police said quote, we love to have visitors shop and dine in our lovely town. we just appreciate it when people actually pay for the items they want. time now is 6:15. northbound lanes of the gold b b gate bridge will be shut down during the san francisco marathon. the closure is meant to protect runners as many know, the marathon is in just one month. kate larson looks at the reasons behind the decision. >> on sunday, drivers will be taking a backseat to runners. >> it's 15,000 runners, sold out event. >> the board voted unanimously

o however, one man believe d it just long enough to get in trouble. take a look at how michael finney helpeded the man get out of a jam. >> he had been on the phone with hewlett-packard tech support so the next call seemed legit. >> they said, oh, we got some signals from your computer. i said, oh, you're hp i think. they said, we're hp. >> actually, the it was a scammer. but dan didn't know that. he let the caller take remote control of his computer. >> got locked down. they said you need to buy this special software. >> the man on o the phone said it would cost $450. >> i expected him to get a credit card number. they didn't. they asked for i-tunes gift cards. >> the man told him to buy $450 worth of i-tunes cards and call him back. >> i ran down there and bought these things. didn't think anything of it at

the time. >> however, later, he wondered why hp would want apple cards. he asked the man on the phone! we work for hp, so we can't buy another software directly. >> that's when dan realized it was a scam. he hung up, now, he was stuck with a disabled computer and $450 worth of i-tunes. >> i'm 75 years old. i don't use a lot of i-tunes. >> he went to an apple store to return them. >> they said you can't refund them here and spend here. >> apple said he couldn't use i tunes to buy an ipad or anything else at the store. >> he contacted us, we contacted apple. the company said dan shod have been allowed to change his cars saying if a customer reaches out to let us know we mistakenly puchlsed the wrong card, we work with them to resolve the issue and apple is posing this issue. and apple swapped dan's cards for store card. >> i did a track down there.
