you can see the intense police reaction in this new video out of caracas. a militant group fired grenades out of a helicopter near the president's location. at least two of the grenades did not detonate. no injuries have been reported. they released this footage before the attack saying they wanted to topple venezuela's tyrannical government. forces now trying to capture that militant group. reggie? developing news, senate republicans now delaying the vote to repeal and replace the carolthe affordable care act. gop leaders were unable to get the votes to bring it to the floor for discussion. janay norman has the latest. >> reporter: a major reverse value from senate republicans. >> i expect to have the support and, yes, we will vote this week. >> reporter: abandoning all help of passing a health care bill

numbers. these are real people. >> reporter: republicans could only afford to lose two votes, but there are nine gop senators who say they cannot support this bill. now the republicans have pushed the vote until after the july 4th recess. it gives them more time to work on a new version of the bill that conservatives say doesn't cut enough and moderates say cuts too deeply. janay norman, abc news, washington. happening today, a terminally ill man who authorities say was on his way to the bay area to kill three doctors is scheduled to be in court to enter a plea. palo alto police say he was a stage 4 cancer patient who drove from visalia last month with the intention of killing the doctors. san jose chp officers stopped chen after his wife tipped off police he had taken off in a rental car. inside the car chp found the names and home addresses of the doctors, as well as two

handguns, mask, and note titled, "why do i kill," enlisting one of the reasons as revenge. three masked robbers hit the wells fargo in rossmoor shopping center at gunpoint and sped away in a stolen pickup truck. officers found the truck, they are asking for information to help track down the robbers. search is on for a pair of robbers that beat a man with a hammer and stole his ukulele. the crime happened sunday morning. one of the robbers started a conversation with the victim and a second man attacked him with a hammer. they took the ukulele, the man's cell phone, and also a backpack. he was not seriously hurt. investigators are now checking video and talking to witnesses hoping to find the cause of a crash between a muni bus and delivery truck. it happened during yesterday's evening commute in san francisco's castro district.

no one was seriously hurt, but both drivers and seven people on the bus were taken to a hospital. >> bus load of people, the weight of both vehicles, it could have been very bad, but it's very fortunate. everything was pretty much minor injuries. >> police say it appears the truck veered into the path of the 24 bus. nothing has been officially confirmed quite yet, so they are still working on that. plan in the works to try and destroy a toxic algae that's closed down an east bay swimming spot. abc 7 was at lake temescal where warnings went up yesterday, blue-green algae releasing toxins into the waters that can kill dogs, cause severe gast ro intestinal issues in some people. >> it's a problem. we have friends that used to come here and swim every day after school and now they don't come at all. >> the east bay regional parks

downtown, prices are -- it's expensive as it is. >> reporter: but any increase will help. he says he'll use the money for rent, to pay his cell phone, and to save for his family. in san francisco, abc 7 news. water front buildings in san francisco, the state land commission and the city have disagreed at times, but happening today a court case that could really clarify things. attorneys for the state land commission and city of san francisco will go before a judge. the state filed a lawsuit three years ago after voters approved proposition "b," requiring voter approval for any water front project that exceeds the city's height limit. well, the state says you can't do that. they argue state law trumps local law. interestingly, this suit pits
