raise the issue with putin, but he says he wants to move on. tweeting sunday, i strongly pressed president putin twice about russian meddling in our election. he vehemently denied it. i've already given my opinion. so what exactly did president trump tell putin about election meddling? his top advisers won't say. >> why would president trump broadcast exactly what he said in the meeting? strategically that makes no sense. >> reporter: putin, who unlike trump held a press conference after the meeting -- [ speaking a foreign language ] >> reporter: -- says president trump accepted his denial that russia didn't do anything to interfere with the election. no white house official denied that until this just yesterday from chief of staff reince priebus who wasn't at the meeting. >> the president absolutely did not believe the denial of president putin. >> reporter: the president insists he's acting to prevent future election hacks. tweeting that he discussed with putin, quote, forming an

impenetrable cybersecurity unit with the russians. prominent republicans think that's a terrible idea. >> it's not the dumbest idea i've ever heard but it's pretty close. when it comes to russia he's got a blind spot. >> there's been no penalty whatsoever. time to move forward. yes, it's time to move forward, but there has to be a price to pay. >> reporter: republican senator marco rubio is also slamming that idea of a joint russian/american task force on cybersecurity saying, partnering with putin on a cybersecurity unit is akin with partnering with assad on a chemical weapons unit. but it now appears that president trump is backing away from the idea. he tweeted late yesterday, the fact that president putin and i discussed a cybersecurity unit doesn't mean i think it can happen. it can't. robin. >> jon, in that conversation between the president and putin, he seemed to point to an apparent victory in syria over the cease-fire?

>> reporter: yeah, and this does appear to be an accomplishment, a cease-fire for part of southern syria that was negotiated in part with the jordanians, as well. that cease-fire, robin, started to take effect yesterday. >> all right, jon, thank you. we move now to that new revelation about the trump campaign and russia. donald trump jr. admitting he met with a russian attorney during the campaign hoping to get damaging information on hillary clinton and the democrats. both jared kushner and former campaign chair paul manafort also at that meeting. tom llamas here with new reporting. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you. let me set the scene for you. at the time those were three of the most powerful people in the trump campaign. meeting at trump tower with a russian lawyer. now, don junior says kushner and manafort didn't know the substance of the meeting but everyone showed up. this morning, the president's son, don junior, on the defensive and explaining why during the campaign he agreed to meet with the russian lawyer linked to the kremlin who he

says claimed to have damaging information about hillary clinton. >> welcome to moscow! >> reporter: don junior says the meeting was set up by someone he knew from the 2013 miss universe pageant, held that year in moscow. abc news has confirmed that person was rob goldstone, a music publicist with russian clients who was friendly with don junior. >> and of course, the big man on campus, donald trump. >> reporter: i was asked to have a meeting by an acquaintance, the president's oldest son said in a statement, who i was told might have information helpful to the campaign. abc news has learned the lawyer that don junior was meeting with was natalia veselnitskaya who has helped lobby for pro-russian policies, an advocate for them on russian television. don junior says he asked his brother-in-law and campaign adviser jared kushner and former campaign chairman paul manafort to the meeting. the meeting taking place in june of 2016 after trump had clinched his party's nomination.

don junior says he wasn't told the name of the russian lawyer in advance. and when they met, she, quote, stated that she had information that individuals connected to russia were supporting mrs. clinton. but he says her statements were vague, ambiguous and made no sense. then the meeting quickly turned to russian adoptions and policy, prompting don junior to end the meeting. for months trump and his team have criticized the investigation into russian collusion, repeatedly denying any contact between the campaign and russia. >> did you or anyone in your campaign have any contact with russia leading up to or during the campaign? nothing at all? >> no, not at all. >> of course not and i think to suggest that is to give credence to some of these bizarre rumors that have swirled around the candidacy. >> to me it's without a question reads and smells like a witch hunt because i have no other proof or evidence to show otherwise. >> reporter: but now, new

questions about why the trump team was apparently interested in help from the russians. now, both don junior and president trump's outside legal team saying the president did not attend the meeting and was not aware of it. we have reached out to natalia veselnitskaya's lawyers for comments. but they have not gotten back to us, george. >> okay, tom, thanks. let's take this now to the counselor to the president, kellyanne conway. kellyanne, thanks for joining us this morning. we just showed some of those denials from the president from the vice president, don junior about any contacts. back in december you also denied any contacts between the campaign and russians. i want to show our audience. >> absolutely not and i discussed that with the president-elect just last night. those conversations never happened. i hear people saying it like it's a fact on television that is just not only inaccurate and false but it's dangerous. >> does the president-elect. >> it does undermine our democracy. >> it did turn out to be a fact. who misled you and why did don junior, jared kushner and paul manafort allow those public denials to stand for so many months? >> so as i understand it,

george, at some of the disclosure forms have been amended since that time and to reflect other meetings including this one. i think that tom llamas, your colleague, put it best. he said that these were vague and ambiguous statements that don junior was not aware of the lawyer's name before he got there and that the conversation quickly changed to what seemed to be the entire purpose of the meeting for that woman, which was russian adoption. no information was received that was meaningful or helpful and no action was taken. >> but, kellyanne, by his own admission he sought the meeting. he agreed to the meeting because she was promising damaging information about hillary clinton. isn't that at minimum an attempt at collusion? >> no, and your colleague, cecilia vega, even said yesterday, as others responsible people have said, including members of the obama administration under oath, there's no evidence of collusion. we're talking about collusion that doesn't exist. >> kellyanne, actually i have to stop you right there. because, kellyanne, that is not what cecilia vega said. cecilia vega was asked about

that yesterday morning. that was before don junior admitted that he sought the meeting to get damaging information on hillary clinton. that was when don junior's statement was simply that this was a meeting about adoption. that changed in the previous hours when he changed his story. >> are you saying there's evidence of collusion because everybody is trying to convert wishful thinking into hard evidence and they haven't been able to do that. let me get back to what you asked me about this meeting. i don't think you had to go very far, respectfully, to find damaging information or negative information about hillary clinton. she was a gusher at all times of negative, damaging information. your own polling showed that a majority of the country doesn't -- didn't trust her at the time, that she had no honesty and integrity. i didn't have to look far as the campaign manager starting the next month to find damaging information. we would just quote her. people admit now $1.2 billion on fire. she had no message that connected to america the way donald trump did. >> kellyanne -- >> there's no evidence of collusion. >> you're changing the subject here, let's go back to the original question. >> no, i'm not.

this is the subject. is there collusion? yes or no. >> number one, why did the administration allow these denials to stand for so many months? >> the people involved in the meeting could answer those questions better for you but as i understand it, george, people's disclosure statements have been amended to reflect meetings such as this. and don junior came forth this weekend and gave more information about the meeting. he also made very clear -- >> after denying it. >> that no information that was meaningful and helpful was gained from this. we have many different meetings in a campaign. some of them are unhelpful and not particularly meaningful. i'm sure you can relate to that. >> but, kellyanne, that's beside the point. he was seeking the information. he was seeking the damaging information. that's why he had the meeting. how is that appropriate? >> george, he was told that there would be information that may be helpful to the campaign. there was no such information. but, again, i want to ask you a question. if we're going to keep using the word collusion, where is the evidence of collusion? what just happened last week is that you had putin and trump had

a conversation. that's meaningful. they brokered a cease-fire in part of syria. they talked about cybersecurity. the first order of business for president trump that he pressed putin on was interference in the election. meddling in the election. exactly what many in the media said would never happen, the president made it the top priority and reportedly pressed him several times so -- >> kellyanne -- >> the conversation is real. the collusion is not. >> we know from don junior's own admission that he sought the meeting with the russian because she would provide damaging information with hillary clinton. how can you say that is not at least an attempt at working with the russians to hurt the clinton campaign to help the trump campaign? >> two quick things. he did not seek the meeting. if you look at his statement he said the meeting was requested of him and he agreed to the meeting. that's different than -- >> because he was going to give damaging information about hillary clinton.

>> he didn't even know her name, george. he had no idea who this person was until she entered the room. he said that also in his statement. >> he believed that she was bringing damaging information about hillary clinton. that's why he agreed to the meeting by his own admission. >> she didn't have it. look, the only information the -- the only people who had information about russia meddling in say 20 -- summer of 2016 did not work in the trump campaign, they worked in the obama white house. they were briefed according to "the washington post" about this kind of information, and did absolutely nothing because they never thought donald trump would win. number two, no meaningful information was received, no action was taken. when i became campaign manager nobody said, oh, we have to turn over this file to you of this fabulous -- there's nothing like that. we were talking to people in michigan, not moscow, and i think it's important for people to know that. >> kellyanne, we have to go. the information was sought from the campaign and those denials were allowed to stand for many months. that's the bottom line. thanks very much for your time. >> look, i wasn't in the meeting. i wasn't in the meeting but people amended their disclosure forms and i think the big bombshell this morning is jim comey disclosing confidential

information he had in private memos. that's what americans should really focus on. >> kellyanne conway, thanks very much. michael. we turn now to devastating wildfires out west, forcing thousands to evacuate including kids at a summer camp. abc's matt gutman is in california where some 5,000 firefighters are bravely battling the flames. good morning, matt. >> reporter: hey, good morning, michael. the air here is still thick with smoke and i want to give you a sense of the urgency here for firefighters. there are dozens of camps like this in this area. this was one of them. this was a bunk house but there are thousands displaced this morning. this morning, those wildfires roaring across california forcing about 8,000 evacuations. emergency crews sending an air assault from the sky dropping flame retardant hoping to stop multiple fast-moving blazes. the alamo fire, the largest fire

currently burning in california, blowing up to nearly 24,000 acres on sunday. that's almost twice the size of manhattan. here in santa barbara, more than 3500 fleeing the whittier fire, some of them through fire clogged route 154. that blaze now blanketing over 7800 acres and is only 5% contained. this time-lapse video showing just how quickly it's tearing across the county. the fire started saturday morning shutting down both sides of a major highway temporarily trapping nearly 90 campers and 50 counselors at a nearby ranch. >> they were trapped because the road was completely enveloped in flames and there were trees falling down across the road an there's really no way to get them out of there. >> reporter: we traveled to what used to be a camp near the area, now reduced to rubble. the scene apocalyptic, cars turned into husks of metal.

>> devastating looking at all this. >> reporter: the camp director's husband driving us to her home on site but when we arrived -- >> oh. >> we've been here for 12 years and this is all that's left. >> reporter: the structure completely destroyed. the governor has declared a state of emergency and the heat that fueled the fires is sticking around for a while. the stakes remain high for firefighters. because blazes continue to threaten critical infrastructure that could threaten ek listy and maj major cities like santa barbara. michael. >> devastating images to see and thank you very much, matt and now amy is joining us with the morning's other top stories starting with some delays for the morning commute? >> that's right, a major rail shutdown in new york affecting commuters along the east coast. extensive renovations and repairs are beginning today at penn station following three derailments in recent months. about one-quarter of the station's tracks will be shut down for that work which is expected to last until september. well, a u.s. army soldier is

in custody accused of fatally shooting a new york state trooper. police say the trooper was responding to a domestic dispute at the soldier's home near the canadian border when shots were fired. the suspect's wife was also found dead. no word what led to that. and some pretty shocking video from tennessee, showing the moment, look at that, whoo, a biker was hit on the side of the road and see the driver of that black volvo taking off from the scene right there. well, the driver has now been identified as the dean at a local private school. he could now face federal charges. the biker is recovering from cuts and bruises. and i don't know if you can imagine this, but it happened to someone waking up with your head inside a bear's mouth. yeah, dylan, this camp counselor in colorado, says he was attacked at 4:00 a.m. he was in his sleeping bag when the bear clamped down on his head and then dragged him out of that sleeping bag 12 feet. but other than needing nine staples to close up those cuts dylan is remarkably okay. he's already back at work. it was his co-workers, his other

an alcohol-fueled night. penn state permanently shutting down that fraternity. the key evidence against the young men, surveillance video from nearly every room in the house. it was played only in court. piazza was visibly drunk, downing at least four drinks in just minutes, falling down the stairs struggling and in pain for hours. >> i observed the defendants, men kidding, back slapping, joking and acting as though they were at a fraternity reunion. >> reporter: prosecutors say the video shows frat brothers ignoring piazza and even hitting him. piazza's parents who say they can't bear to watch the video spoke to "gma" in may. >> they set out to feed these guys lethal amounts of alcohol from the outset. >> reporter: the charges range from involuntary manslaughter to reckless endangerment, to tampering with evidence. the video shows the frat brothers getting rid of all traces of alcohol before police arrived, even putting a clean shirt on piazza's unconscious

body. defense attorneys for the former frat brothers say the video does not show intent to hurt piazza. >> i don't see how anybody could be charged with the knowledge that this was anything more than a frat brother who had too much to drink. >> reporter: still, piazza's parents say their behavior is indefensible. >> i don't know where their conscience was, where the voice in the back of their head was saying he's hurt, i got to do the right thing. >> reporter: and penn state telling abc news this morning that it is vigorously working to implement new safety measures for the fall semester calling piazza's death a terrible tragedy. robin. >> it was that. all right, gio, thank you. robin, also this morning, venus williams is back in action at wimbledon as we learn new details about that fatal car crash she was involved in last month. new surveillance video is answering some key questions showing she may not have been at fault. t.j. holmes here with that story.

good morning, t.j. >> good morning, george. you'll remember police said venus williams was at fault, their words, for this accident that ultimately led to a man's death. they are changing their tune this morning because of that new evidence. the new surveillance video, you mentioned, george, in which they say it shows that venus williams acted lawfully. this is the newly released video showing that fatal crash involving tennis superstar venus williams. police released the video friday saying it shows williams driving the suv in the upper left-hand corner, lawfully entered the intersection near her florida home last month, when another vehicle seen here cut her off causing her to stop advancing through the intersection to avoid a collision. police say when williams proceeded she was acting in accordance with florida law, even though the car carrying 78-year-old jerome barson and his wife linda had a greenlight when just seconds later they collided with her. jerome passed away two weeks after the crash. linda was injured. police are still investigating the incident but have not

charged williams with any crime. the couple's lawyer who filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the five-time wimbledon champ says the video shows their client had the right of way. >> a smile. >> reporter: williams was uninjured in the crash. she was emotional last week when asked about the accident following her opening round win at wimbledon. >> i'm completely speechless and >> reporter: she was not to blamed for the wreck. >> venus williams entered the intersection on a green light. she had the right by state law to get through the intersection. and so she was correctly entering and exiting that intersection. >> and again, venus williams has not been cited. she has not been charged. now, they have cited the police in their release. they stated this, a florida statute that says when someone is in that intersection legally, the person even you have a green light they have the right of way and you have to wait for them to get out of the way. the police are citing that statute. so this was an awful, unfortunate accident that led to a man's death but still the back and forth legalese will continue

on board has tripled since 2010. but now experts are urging caution, deaths are even on the rise. abc's becky worley is in the water with some important tips and, becky, i have seen you in action in hawaii. you know what you're talking about here. >> we have been on the water together, robin, and it is such a fun sport. millions probably participating in it this weekend but warnings from the coast guard, a few precautions could save your life. paddleboarding, one of the fastest-growing sports in america. it seems so simple yet experts say it can suddenly turn dangerous. >> i didn't prepare enough. >> reporter: nancy says she was paddling back from the lighthouse in lewis, delaware, when a wave knocked her off her board. she wasn't wearing a life jacket or using a leash and the current swept her board away. >> i was way too far offshore for people sitting on the beach to be able to hear me. >> reporter: she says she would have drowned if a passing boat

didn't rescue her, 15 paddleboarders died in 2016, three fatal accidents in one weekend and, in many cases an unknown danger, wind played a huge part. to show you how the wind can wreak havoc i become the experiment. with the coast guard from station bodega bay in california watching over i put on my personal flotation device. beautiful day to go paddleboarding. even though it's blowing just ten miles an hour at my back, when i turn around the ferocity of the wind surprises me. getting back took three times as long as the paddle out. imagine if i had gone further. oh, man. did i have to work out there. i don't know how long i could keep that pace up. it's just scary. >> reporter: then to show how fast this can go from scary to possibly deadly, we wait for the wind to pick up. it's now howling. upwards of 18 miles an hour.

after just a few minutes with it at my back -- i am way out here. i've been on the board for five minutes and i'm already 700 yards from shore. it's so choppy i have to get down on my knees to try to turn the board around and head back to shore. oh, boy. i am in trouble. the wind churns up the waves. oh, boy. i get back on the board but the wind knocks me off. boom. i'm in the water again. the coast guard pulls the plug for safety concerns. i'm certain i wouldn't have been able to make it back to shore. i just got my butt handed to me. if there had been no boat here, i'd be out there. the coast guard says as the sports grows there's calls for more rescues. they say to stay safe, always wear a life jacket. >> there's four people that died this year exactly as you fell off in choppy water, they fell off and they drowned. >> reporter: and depending on the water temperature, wear a wet suit. i'm putting one on now.

>> 49 degrees. >> 49 degrees. >> that's take your breath away kind of water. someone who is surprised will gasp under water there and that's when they drown. >> reporter: and in most cases wear a leash. here's wha i purposely fell in without wearing one. i go under water. it's disorienting. then trying to swim after the unleashed board, forget it. no chance. can't reach my board. lucky for me the coast guard here to help. guys, paddleboarding is my passion. i want you to try it, the coast guard telling me, though, that just a few simple precautions can keep you safe. so lifevest at all times. they make ones that are just for paddleboarding if you want. leash, keeping it -- keeping you with your board is your best chance at survival if something goes wrong. tell someone where you're going and when you'll be back and check the weather and the wind. if you get into the wind and you can't make any headway, get down on your knees, you're less of a

says that's not true but it is that other meeting that is now drawing more questions here, the meeting with donald trump jr. and top officials at the trump campaign and a lawyer with ties to the kremlin. this morning on "gma," kellyanne conway says that that meeting where the russian lawyer was promising damaging information about hillary clinton is not evidence of collusion. >> and are you saying there's evidence of collusion? because everybody is trying to convert wishful thinking into hard evidence and they haven't been able to do that. i don't think you had to go very far respectfully to find damaging information or negative information about hillary clinton. she was a gusher at all times of negative damaging information. >> reporter: george, the explanations coming from don junior and coming from the white house about this meeting have shifted quite dramatically but now the kremlin is saying that they did not have any information, did not know this meeting was taking place. george. >> okay, jon karl, thanks very much.

the other big story this morning, a major victory in the fight against isis. iraq's prime minister has declared the city of mosul now liberated following a months-long battle. our senior foreign correspondent ian pannell is there. good morning, ian. >> reporter: george, just look at this, this is the start of mosul coming back to normal. we're at one of the main junctions in the city in west mosul. this is where the fighting has been at its heaviest. yard after yard, mile after mile of mosul has been devastated by the bombing, by the fighting that's taken place here. we've seen bulldozers clearing away debris and we've even seen people reinstalling sewage pipes. this is the new normal in iraq. we've heard a couple of explosions in the background as the fighting goes on against small pockets of isis fighters still left in the city. now all guns will turn westward to raqqah in syria. there, u.s.-backed forces are leading the battle against the militants and so far with success. so the situation here in mosul is one where people are happy about what has happened and they're hugely relieved that reign of terror has been

released but people also know this doesn't mean peace in their time. george. >> okay, ian, that war has a long way to go. >> the new normal in iraq as he said. the international battle over charlie gard, an infant who suffers from a rare genetic condition. his parents are heading to court, trying to get him more treatment, and abc's james longman has more and joins us this morning from london. good morning, james. >> reporter: good morning, robin. this is the latest twist over the future of a very sick little boy. charlie gard's parents have so far lost every appeal to stop doctors from turning off his life support. something they say would enable him to die with dignity. but today a court will hear new evidence about that controversial treatment that charlie's parents want him to undergo in the united states. now we should say that treatment is just that, it's not a cure. but nonetheless it perhaps would help him with his symptoms. his mother, connie, says seven doctors from around the world

going down in flames ♪ >> reporter: peta chose two dresses for her special day. for the ceremony, an ivory off the shoulder ball gown with fitted bodice and multitiered full gathered skirt by karen sabag and a sheer confection covered in feather detailing for the reception. the bride was escorted down the aisle as "nutcrack suite" played softly in the background. [ cheers ] >> reporter: the duo was surrounded by their "dancing with the stars" family as they said i do. as well as their 6-month-old son shai who garnered a special prince of honor mention on the wedding program. maks' brother and fellow pro served as best man with tony dovolani as groomsmen. sharna burgess and rumer willis and robert herjavec and kym, and

what i've done here is i've used earl grey tea in place of water and it elevates the flavor. it gives you a little citrus lemony flavor. it's fantastic. >> i know. >> and then i've added in some chopped dates, a little bit of peaches and then nuts for flavor. >> okay, i like that earl grey. >> yeah. >> okay, all right. rice pudding? well, first of all, how long would this stay in the fridge? >> okay, so this is going to be good for about three days in your fridge. >> okay, good. all right, rice pudding. >> i know. rice pudding is called the forbidden rice. >> oh, you didn't. you just had to. >> traditional rice are full of sugar and you add a lot of salt but here there's no added sugar. what we've done is done the almond milk and pineapple for the extra sweetness. i know, fantastic, a little built of raisins and again the nuts for crunch. >> okay, all right. and now what these breakfast bars are all the rage too but

you can make it yourself. >> what i love about this breakfast bar, they're no added sugars. breakfast bars tend to be -- a nutritional disaster. this is great. so we're using quinoa, full of fiber, chia seeds for brain health, oats, high in fiber, wonderful for gut health, and then i did a little bit of applesauce. no added sugar and then you'll see the nut butter for extra creaminess. >> that's a beautiful idea. how long does it take? >> okay, this is going to take you about 30 minutes to prep ahead. however, it can last for seven days to ten days in your fridge and you're going to yield around ten bars which is absolutely fantastic. >> wow, wonderful. you saved us time and money and delicious. maya, thank you very much. all of these grab and go breakfast recipes are on our website so go check it out. you know, people are eating breakfast right now. we'll be right back.

forget it then later i'm like, this could be funny. and then i wrote it down and then i decided to direct it and shot it in realtime. 99 minutes and simultaneously live streamed it into cinemas here in the states so it was 2:00 in the morning there and it was like the most challenging thing i ever did but it turned out great. owen wilson is phenomenal in it. just phenomenal and willie nelson is in it and a bunch of great english actors and, yeah. >> is that all improved in or do you memorize lines for that. >> no, we -- [ laughter ] we decided to memorize some lines. it's live streamed. so it's like the merging of theater and film but you wouldn't want to go out on stage with, you know, thousands of people watching and bomb. so -- >> so that would be a lot to

now, you can use a picnic bench. you can use a flight of stairs. look how sim headline is. they're driving up through their heel. they have one foot up there. simple to watch and as you become stronger, use a higher step. >> how many of those do you do. >> about 20,000. no, i would start off at sets of 10, build up repwise and height and you can hold dumbbells eventually. simple movement. >> can you do like three sets of ten? >> start off one set of ten. if you have no injury, build it up to two set, tee sets. when you get to five sets it's time to up your reps. >> all right. >> then behind us. >> this is a hip thrust. this is -- here's a simple baseball one lying on the floor and notice she has fists on her hips with her thumbs up and when she looks up her thumb and her knee should be lined up that's how you know how high you're going and right over here we have a bridge or a hip thrust elevated hip thrust. >> is that harder? >> this one is a little more when your upper body is elevated doing a great job of driving up

through her heels. chin tucked in. looking forward. great, great butt mover. >> you can use the couch for that. >> i knew it would come in handy. >> couch, bed, dining room table, reverse lunges. knew we would do some whether it be a walk lunge down broadway, a reverse lunge, a skater lunge, curtsy lunge, all great simple movements stepping back and notice i'm having them actually grab the leg they're using, their hand is grabbing the butt underneath so they know which side to drive up from and they're putting all their weight on their front heel. >> great movement good job. >> what about the superman. >> looks like a superwoman hybrid. i call this the dolphin extension, lying on a bench, grab -- something solid underneath and she's just contracting her lower back and butt because they work together, great for posture and sculpts and tones the half of the butt. >> how many times a week should you be doing these exercises. >> two to three times a week in

combination with training the rest of your body, so making sure there's balance with your hamstring, quad, core, all the other muscles in your body but great movements to sprinkle it. i would pick two of them maybe each time you do it two to three times a week, two to three sets. >> you suggest cardio because that's a big part. >> i don't even talk about cardio anymore. i think about step, right. i think you've got to be doing at least 150,000 steps a day. i get my clients at least 14,000 steps a day. you got to get enough sleep, eat well and you got to have a really great workout outfit. that's so important. >> oh, my gosh. >> i'm a shopper for that stuff so it's good. thank you very much. harley, for being here and coming up we've got ryan

joey and i to connect and she's absolutely wonderful. this girl has got a massive career ahead of her and such a sweetheart and so grounded for having been a child actor. she's like cool people. >> and for your kids, i'm curious, is it weird to see them -- for you -- to have them watch you may a father to someone else. >> i got to imagine it is to some degree. thankfully or most of what i've done has been r rated. they haven't seen yet but "wish upon" is one that they can see and i actually can't wait for them to see it. >> are you a scary movie fan? >> you know, it's not my favorite genre. growing up i loved like "poltergeist." i remember that scared the heck out of me and "exorcist" but i don't go in for "human centipede" or anything like that. i'm good on that. >> you know, you're not a stranger to a scary movie because i know what you did last summer, you were in that. >> uh-huh. >> 20 years ago. >> oh, god. >> 20 years ago.

[ applause ] so what do you remember about shooting that movie? >> i remember it was a really exciting time because sarah michelle gellar and fred si prinz and jennifer love hewitt and i were starting our careers out and felt like our first big studio movie. one anecdotal thing i remember from the shooting of it i took my rental car on the beach in north carolina with sarah michelle and got it tuck in a sand dune and had to get it towed out before production realized. but you do a lot of dumb tough when you're young. >> that's what you remember from the movie, getting tuck in a sand dune. >> that's how you do it. >> but that was 20 years ago. >> yeah. >> now you're on the cover of "men's fitness." >> uh-huh. >> like i said you look like you don't age, man. so what is the secret. 90 minute workouts five days a week or -- >> yeah, listen, you know as well as i do a lot goes into it but like instead of boring you with the details i have an app released today called the become app that will i have give you the road map of taking care of
