yesterday, in a few of our inland east bay neighborhoods. let's turn over to traffic. hi there. hello. all right. take a look at our traffic now it's just a minor issue in tracy so eastbound 205 near west 11th we've got a two-car crash. sounds like it's off on the shoulder and that's the counter commute direction so that's -- this time day. westbound 205 to 580 slowly starting to fill in, 15 miles pr hour, 20 miles per hour but nothing like those significant delays we had yesterday out of the central valley. we'll look at things in the south bay next. richmond police are looking for more victims of a tennis coach who they say has a history of sexual assault. police in richmond have arrested this man on a tennis court yesterday. two of the students include a 16-year-old boy say that he molested them. he works as a private coach after being accused of a similar crime more than a decade ago. in 2006 he was fired from a high school teaching job in mill

valley avenue was charged with molesting four students. that case ended in a hung jury. developing news out of mississippi, federal investigators trying to figure out what went wrong here as a marine plane crashed silg service members. the plane went down yesterday afternoon in a small town about 100 miles north of jackson. marine corps officials say the plane experienced a quote, mishap. a witness describes the sounds he heard as the plane came down. >> crackling noise, it was something that and it was all over. but it was loutd. it's just scary because i seen all the black smoke, it was horrifying. >> the plane was used as a refueling tanker. officials say it took off from cherry point, north carolina. construction to ease traffic on a major bay area bridge is hit a roadblock again. >> the creation of of a third lane on the richmond santa fell bridge is hit a wall. abc 7 news amy hollyfield is live at the bridge this morning.

good morning. >> reporter: hi, natasha. sounds like that third lane mate not open up until march, that's about four months later than originally expected. according to our media partner, they're finding that pushing that retaining wall back 15 feet has been tougher than they expected. the plan is to create a third eastbound lane that will be used during commute hours. after the commute it will be used as a shoulder for caltrans to use for maintenance work. traffic on this bridge has increased 13% in the last five years and when it slows down, the backup stretches all the way to highway 101 and interstate 580 in the marin. so it's not just commuters who are anxious to see this open, residents who see the traffic spill on to their neighborhood streets say they need this relief. transit officials say they will meet with the contractor to see about speeding up the construction, but that will likely cost more money. so they have to decide if they want to spend it and where to find it. so that delay to march isn't

official but it's looking like a strong possibility. live from richmond, amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. crews are still watering down hot spots as drone view 7 gives you a look at the rubble left behind from friday morning's construction fire in oakland. the atf is waiting for the all clear go in and start its investigation. of course they're going to be looking at possible arson. this comes after similar fires in the east bay are also considered arson at this point. and new evidence shows the man who may have set one of those other construction fires. abc 7 news reporter katy eunice has more. >> you can see surveillance footage captured a man putting on a hood and gloves in the moments before a large apartment development was set on fire. the suspected arsonist is seen scaling the building's scaffolding on the oakry emeryville border. that destroyed the construction project on may 13th. it had burned once before in july of last year. >> these buildings gontd up by

police found damage to the front doors of the air force building and called the bomb squad. the recruiting station was closed at the time and non injuries were reported. the fbi and atf are on the scene. the atf says the motive isn't known, domestic terrorism cannot be ruled out. >> it's 5:40 now, ploel police are looking for a car jacker who stole someone's pickup truck at a gas station last weekend. this is a sketch of the man who police say pretended to have a weapon and stole the truck from a man in the process of filling up his car the. suspect drove away in the 2012 dodge ram and tore the gas nozzle off the pump. the suspect and car remain at large. the victim was not injured. it's expected to be cleaned up today, it was vandalized over the weekend. the hired security guard witnesseds some of the incidents saturday afternoon but was not allowed 10 to gauge. the guard called oakland police. the school principal tells us that he believes it was students. nothing was stolen, just

damaged. summer schoolers had to move classrooms yesterday and police are investigating. a case of pilot confusion at sfo could have turned into a catastrophic crash. >> where's this guy going? he's on the taxi way. >> thank goodness for that united airlines pilot calling in. on friday nied an air canada plane was given the okay to land but as you heard there another pilot alerted the tower that the plane was trying to land on the taxiway. our media partners said there were four planes getting ready to take off. tower ordered the plane to abort landing goond around the airport another time prevent a potential crash. federal investigators are trying to figure out how close the plane came to those other flights. the runways have bright lights and the taxi way has dim lights. that's designed to prevent this kind of confusion. we're getting our first look at an active army soldier who was arrested on terror charges.

developing news in the south babay where firefighters are stl at the scene of a large grass fire. >> firefighters kept an eye on hot spots all night long to keep that from spedding. tiffany wilson live for you in san jose. tiffany. >> reporter: good morning. the fire is about 40 acres and 40% contained and you can see here this road closure along metcalf road behind me. there's another one along san felipe road and i smelled some smoke when i was driving down san felipe road earlier this morning. firefighters are using these rural roads to access the hot spots, that's why they are closed today. now redo have video from yesterday afternoon when about 150 firefighters were on the scene. they battled both by ground and in the air with water and fire retard ant. it appears that this fire started as a car fire and then spread quickly to dry grass. initially firefighters thought they'd have to evacuate families but they were able to contain the fire enough that evacuations were not necessary.
