this. >> hundreds of frustrated neighbors overflowing out of a meeting with the housing department about turning this plot of land across the street from thousand oaks park into housing for the homeless. >> when you build them, more of them will be coming. >> director of housing jackie morales says the city is considering building 20 to 25 tiny homes as well as bathroom and kitsching structures for the homeless early next year. all ten districts must propose a new site for homeless communities. >> this was the only district that had one surplus site in their district. it was highly unusual because most of the other districts have multiple sites. >> how are they going to promise us the safety of our kids? >> this man lives a block and a half away from the parb. he has three kids under 6. >> the thought of having that project being built in my neighborhood really scares me. >> i'm incredibly sensitive to the homeless situation.

>> denise thinks the city should help the homeless but she's worried about the price of her home dropping. she says the city will be considering leasing a different site and other community suggestions. in san jose, kate larson. >> this is quite a strange story. we want you to look at your tv to perhaps help the chp in santa rosa. they are looking to identify this woman. she's accused of using a counterfeit $100 bill at a school bake sale. high school students were selling baked goods to raise money for their music program. so they were standing in front of oliver's market on monday. investigators say this woman bought several items and then paid with a fake $100 bill. the students gave her $80 in change. and then one of the students realized, hey, this is a fake. they tried to actually stop the woman, but she sped off in what appears to be a dark older honda with custom rims.

the woman described at 5'6", pounds with a tattoo on her left forearm. >> thieves rip off a cvs. four women enter the store and fill their bags there. they were after allergy products. the women took off in a newer mottle charcoal gray nissan altima with blue paper plates. an elementary school vandalized, and east oakland needs your help to raise $7,000 for repairs. they created a go fund me page after vandals broke in on saturday. it will take months to replace custom windsoes and set up new security cameras. the principal says he believes former students damaged the school. the school has raised almost $4,000 of its $7,000 goal. if you would like to help, we set up a link on our website. >> man who witnessed a
