those heavy thunderstorms in britain's southwest coast sent a flash flood roaring through that village there. some people had to be rescued by helicopter off of a roof. now area roads are closed and large hail has broken windows. residents say they've had minor flooding before, but nothing quite like this. luckily, no injuries reported, but quite a scene there in cornwall. back here in this country, the search for the tenth victim of last weekend's flash flood in arizona will resume at daybreak. it had to be called off early yesterday because of a threat from new storms in that area. it is monsoon seas searchers don't expect to find hector garnica alive.

his wife and three children are among those dead. the rush of water ran through the area where they were swimming. a pretty interesting discovery from switzerland. two bodies that may have been frozen inside a glacier for 75 years, the frozen remains of what appear to be a man and woman were recovered on friday. it's believed they were the husband and wife who vanished in 1942. their 79-year-old daughter says they went out to feed animals and never came home. a popular clothing chain called justice is no longer selling a makeup product in its stores. our station wtvd found the shine shimmer contains asbestos and four toxic heavy metals have been found. justice says it has pulled that product from its stores and website. a dallas cowboys wide receiver again has his blitz, that's blitz, his pit bull, the

>> reporter: a plea from an anguished father in australia, asking for an explanation about why his daughter was gunned down by a police officer. >> we only ask that the light of justice shine down on the circumstances of her death. >> reporter: the investigating agency revealing new details from an interview with the officer driving the vehicle. two officers responded to justine damond's 911 call saturday night. reporting a possible assault outside. we're learning that the officer who shot her, mohamed noor has refused to be interviewed. but the officer who drove said they drove south in search of a suspect with the squad lights off. harrity told investigators they were first startled by a loud noise nearby. damond approached the window, noor fired his gun. four minutes after damond came out of her home into the alley behind it, an officer was performing cpr on the

dubose two years ago today. prosecutors are dropping the case after to juries couldn't reach a verdict. the federal government is considering a civil rights case against him. and in philadelphia, a long standoff between police and a man wanted for murder is now over. he had barricaded himself inside a home. he fired several shots at officers. residents were told to stay indoors. more than 12 hours after it started, the suspect was dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound. and there was a previously undisclosed meeting between president trump and president putin. >> the two had a private meeting at the g20 meeting. hours after their formal sitdown. putin's translator was only other person involved in that conversation, which sources say went on for nearly an hour. >> the president firing off a pair of angry tweets last night in response to the story, calling it fake news. he said the press knew about this dinner and is just trying to make this look sinister. the white house isn't revealing what the two men discussed.

paper mill smokestack demolished in michigan. the mill has been closed for years and city officials were worried they would come down on their own. demolition of the second is expected soon. let's hope it's as exciting. a wildfire has forced the complete evacuation of a town. this year yosemite national forest. the detwiler fire has grown to more than 25,000 acres. it is threatening hundreds of homes and at least eight structures have been destroyed. this photo from the national weather service shows the fire stretches all the way to idaho. yosemite national park is filling with smoke. the park itself open, but several roads leading up to it are closed and electricity inside the park has been on and off because of the fire. eclipsing the fire just four hours apart. miami police are trying to unravel the death of a 10 year

15 months behind bars after being convicted in a banking violations case. it was that case that revealed hastert had sexually abused teenagers while coaching wrestling at a chicago-area high school. he is now confined to his home and must undergo court-ordered sex offender treatment and is facing two civil lawsuits from men who claim he abused them as boys. and one of o.j. simpson's victims in the incident that sent him to prison for five years will be speaking on his behalf tomorrow. the 70-year-old former nfl star is hoping to be paroled for armed robbery. he is hoping to be paroled after serving nine years for armed robbery. if simpson wins parole, he won't be set free until october of this year. the hearing will be streamed live and abc news will provide live coverage starting at 1:00 p.m. eastern time tomorrow afternoon. last time chris christie was in the news he was sitting on a near empty beach with his family and friends. how could anyone forget these images? it was closed due to a government shutdown.
