it's 54 at the coast. look at that, calm winds right here in san francisco. our roof camera, 58 santa rosa, 65 in concord, 60 in livermore from east bay hills camera, it's sunny. this is where you will see the quick warming for near 87 degrees by noon. by 4:00 in the afternoon, antioch could reach 100. the rest of the bay area will be warmer, but not as warm. we're talking generally 5 to 10 degrees of warming. i'll tell you where and for how long coming up. an oakland man is now in jail accused of creating a social media accounts for isis. this morning we're learning more about his background. katie utehs spoke with a long time family friend of the terror suspect. >> reporter: we broke the shocking news to allie that a close family friend had been indicted on terrorism charges. >> i feel like crying. i know it will hurt his family. >> reporter: he's known 22-year-old amer sinan al

haggagi since he was a boy. the family lived above this market. al haggagi attempted to open social media accounts for the benefit of isis. >> i hope it's something that come up like natural, like it's hard to believe. >> reporter: in court detention documents, a judge notes that the defendant allegedly went so far as to meet with undercover agents on multiple occasiomulti plan a potential terrorist attack. al haggagi's attorney says that he is young and naive and it appears that he allowed himself to be drawn into conversations that he should have been far more suspicion of. al haggagi has been in custody in oakland since last november when he was arrested on aggravated identity theft charge. agents say he bought goods using a stolen credit card. he was born in lodi, spent time in yemen as a kid and then attended berkeley high school.

al haggagi also taught arabic at a local mosque. the local community watches out for online radicalization. >> tie my son to my hands. it's scary. >> reporter: al haggagi is considered a flight risk and being held without bond. in oakland, katie utehs, abc 7 news. developing news from the helmand province in afghanistan where a u.s. air strike accidently killed 12 afghan national police personnel. two others were also wounded. in a statement the pentagon said the errant air strike happened during an operation against taliban insurgence. helmand province is where national security forces have been battling to retake territory under the control of the taliban. concerns over possible terrorist attack during tomorrow's san francisco marathon have prompted a partial closure of the golden gate

bridge during the race. hee is a live look at the iconic span. all northbound lanes will be closed from 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning on sunday. abc 7 news was there as some of the 27,000 racers picked up their bibs. with all those runners hitting the streets, drivers can expect major traffic delays. here is look at the race route in green on your screen. these roads will be closed from 7:00 to noon. and the areas in pink show where traffic can cross but that is only when there is a break in the race. muni riders can also expect delays. this video shows testing of new subway cars. the testing means several subway stations will partially shut down all day on the weekends and at 9:30 week nights starting today. buses will take passengers between west portal and the embarcadero. testing ends august 20th. the mayor of richmond wants answers after seeing a man being beaten by a group of teens outside the richmond b.a.r.t.

station. mayor butt took this picture of the man who was attacked yesterday. the mayor says he called 911, but the operator told him it was a b.a.r.t. problem. he called b.a.r.t. dispatch. b.a.r.t. officers eventually responded, but to make matters worse, he says two b.a.r.t. employees at the scene did nothing to help. >> their secondary job ought to be whatever needs to be done at the time to make the system work. >> b.a.r.t. police say the two employees are maintenance workers who have no law enforcement training. they say each b.a.r.t. officer is assigned a beat that includes two to three stations. this morning, some people are saying that a section of a bay area coastal highway is too dangerous. highway 1 hugs the coastline and two families are expressing concern after their loved ones veered off the road and into the ocean. lonni rivera shows us what they are doing.

>> reporter: this sign is a painful reminder for two families who lost loved ones in similar circumstances. >> both the baby of the family. >> reporter: 22-year-old richard moss was last seen may 25th before he left to drive along the coast to work. his aaa card washed up in late june on montero state beach. search teams also recently located what is believed to be the wheel of his car. when we arrived, alameda county deputies were using drones, helping san mateo deputies with the search. >> we've had divers, boats. >> reporter: last year deputies say 20-year-old rosy alba was traveling north when her car veered off the highway into the ocean in the same area. >> start planning to put in k rails here so nobody else has to die. >> reporter: rosie's body was found here at the beach, but her car was never located. so far in the moss case they have located some car parts, but his remains have not been found.

attorney wants to force uber and lift oig lyft to follow the law about herrera is asking the superior court to comply with subpoenas issued six weeks ago. they had asked records on safety and their operations, but so far nothing has been forthcoming. >> you have to strike the right balance to make sure that the public is benefiting from the service that is provided, but that they are not creating a threat to public health and safety by their conduct on the streets. >> the subpoenas were issued as part of a city investigation into whether the right sharing companies are creating a public new answer in san francisco. excitement is mounting in the south bay as soccer fans gear up for tomorrow's preseason match between manchester united and real madrid. 60,000 tickets have already been sold. katie marzullo spoke with fans.

so not much warmth yet, but it's coming. you can see the flag blowing here. pick up to 10 to 20 miles per hour in the afternoon. san francisco warms to 72 degrees today. slightly warmer than yesterday. 57 in the city, 64 oakland, we're in the low 60s san jose, mountain view and in the mid-50s from gilroy to half moon bay. so this is the shot from our east bay hills camera. it's beautiful out there. 59 santa rosa, 63 already in na napa, so the wind shift will allow for a quick warm-up. 65 concord, 66 in fairfield. so low 70s once again in santa cruz and the fog will be hugging the shore line all day long with periods of brightness from time to time. we will be in the low 70s up toward stenson, but hot inland today and tomorrow. comfortable weather at the beaches and gradual cooling mainly monday and tuesday. tomorrow we'll get the southerly surge that will bring the breeze, but not soon enough to cool you off in the south bay.

upper 80s again for the second half of the weekend, average high 82. we'll get there by the middle of the week. and then by thursday and friday, it warms back up. here is the look of the fog throughout the day. if you're planning to go to the beach and you're wondering if it will be sunny, it will pull back from time to time, but then right back. so numbers shouldn't get past the upper 60s south of stenson from ocean to half moon bay. and once gone we'again we'll se monterey. 85 santa clara. peninsula, upper 80s in redwood city. 79 in san mateo. here is the fog from the richmond to the sunset, 74 down by the airport, 86 petaluma, 88 in sonoma. upper 70s in san leandro. and you head inland, mid and upper 90s. very warm for concord, livermore 97. so we will be looking at a comfortable start tomorrow for the marathon.

another bombshell report involving attorney general. we begin with david wright at the white house. >> reporter: trump's trip to the most advanced aircraft carrier ever built comes as the white house is eager to get back in fighting form. it's his second trip to the u schlt schs schs gerald ford. back in march, he put on the bomber jacket and was bombarded himself. >> when did you first learn that sessions spoke to the russia ambassador? >> reporter: with questions about jeff sessions' decisiontot recuse himself from investigations in to russia and the campaign. this week trump said he would have picked somebody else had he known sessions would recuse himself. now sessions' own account of his contacts with the russians is under fire despite his repeated denials -- >> i never had meetings with russian operatives or russian intermediaries about the trump

and after reflection, my decision was to recommend to the president that i give anthony and sarah a clean slate to start from. >> reporter: david wright, abc news, washington. a justice department spokesperson is questioning the credibility of a new report out that says attorney general jeff sessions discussed the 2016 campaign with russia's ambassador to the united states. the "washington post" says two conversations between sessions and sergey kislyak were enter sented by u.s. spy agencies. they reportedly discussed u.s./russian relations under a possible trump administration. sessions initially failed to disclose that he even met with kislyak. this is a white house photo of the president shaking hands with the ambassador in the oval office. the justice department spokesperson called the story wholly uncorroborated. now to the russia investigation. abc news has learned that special counsel robert mueller is telling white house aides not to destroy any documents related to that trump tower meeting with

a russian lawyer and this new question, could the president pardon himself or his family? senior white house correspondent cecilia vega has more. >> reporter: the white house facing questions about whether president trump is considering pardoning his family or himself. his lawyers give a firm denial, but the new press secretary seems to leave the door open. >> he maintains pardon powers, like any president would, but there are no planned announcements on that front whatsoever. >> reporter: it comes as the white house turns up the heat on robert mueller, accusing him and his team of conflicts of interest telling the "new york times" he interviewed mueller for the job of fbi director just one day before he was appointed special counsel. >> you talk about conflicts, he was interviewing for the job. >> reporter: the president adding that there were many other conflicts that i haven't said, but i will at some point

surgery. the medical examiner's office said he passed away yesterday. he was 72. he is survived by his three children. disturbing moments caught on camera. a disabled man struggled to stay of a net and teens shot the entire episode and mocked the man as he was drowning. abc news has more on the growing anger surrounding the story help. >> reporter: this morning police say they are pursuing charges against the teens accused of recording that disturbing video of a man drowning. >> [ bleep ]. >> reporter: this is the pond where it happened. the five teens stood right here along the bank and errrecorded jamal dunn laughing at the 31-year-old as he died. >> we just saw buddy die. >> reporter: on thursday, authorities said the teens would not be facing criminal charges, that the teens were not obligated to render aid it dunn. >> do you wish could yyou coulde

legally? >> absolutely. >> reporter: shocking in many states you don't legally have to help someone this distress. >> a life could have been saved. family could have got closure and people know what happened to him. just so disturbing. >> reporter: but the teens also neglected to report the drowning to police. and now authorities hope a statute will allow them to pursuit misdemeanor charges for failing to report a death. >> the statute has never been used in this way. i don't know has there is any just that will come to this. >> reporter: the state attorney's office releasing the video as a key piece of evidence in the investigation and will decide whether on file charges providing little comfort to donindone ing d dunn's family. >> they are laughing and joking saying we're not helping you. that was horrible. >> reporter: police also have new surveillance video and the state attorney's office willi b taking a close look at it a they decide to move forward with

legal action. the marijuana industry is working to avoid a shortage of pot in california. will be creation corre state officials say a shortage like the one seen in nevada is unlikely because there are many cannabis suppliers. industry officials are working to give licensees the ability to keep doing business nonlicensed entities for a period of time. not everyone is ready for recreational marijuana use according to the bay area news group. and online survey found almost two-thirds of pleasant hill residents said the city should not allow commercial marijuana sales. hwever the survey did not verify that part paicipants liv in pleasant hill. there will be a discussion held next tuesday to discuss delivery and sales and cultivation. the meeting begins at 6:30 at the pleasant hill city hall. still ahead on abc 7 mornings, this high tech truck can bake a pizza as it drives to

58 in gilroy. the fingers of fog are settling in, but it will be warm in the authority b north bay. 62 in santa rosa, 63 napa, upper 60s by the delta. the delta breeze shut off and in fact we'll see the quick warming from here on out. 65 in concord. 60 in liver more. so looking at the fog now and again at the shore line, you get some sunshine, some clouds, and that will allow for comfortable temperatures. hot inland this weekend, comfortable near the coast with gradual cooling particularly monday and tuesday. so if we look at the trend, you will notice that for tomorrow, not a lot of change. we may come down just a few degrees, but we'll still call it hot inland. monday, more cooling. and tuesday a little change. so if you like the coolidown, you'll like the first couple days of the week. and then it will get warmer. 66 half moon bay.
