soccer match at levi stam yum. >> reporter: two of the world's best teams were at levi stadium. soccer fans from all over the bay area and beyond came here to see them go head to head. today's match is part of the international champions cup, a tournament established four years ago as a way to bring many top international teams to north america. as exciting as it was to see these top players in person, there was disappointment in the air. some key players decided not to play. christiane notice renaldo was not here. and they thought the intensity was lacking. this was an exhibition match. fns were still impressed saying the caliber of teams is well beyond what they see at home. >> the face is faster. you compare playing styles, and

gavilan college. so far, at least 50 acres have burned and the fire started just after 4:00. no structures have been threatened. cal fire says there's no capability containment at this point. now a nationwide effort to install sprinklers in every high-rise apartment building. the building was built in 1971 before sprinklers were mandatory there. in the bay area, leaders looked at adding sprinklers but the effort failed after landlords, rate concerns and logistics. buildings built before 1943 in san francisco are not required to have sprinklers. he's the highest paid mayor in the state and he just got a big raise.
