>> announcer: live where you live, this is "abc 7 news." ♪ i know i'm going to jail for life, all right? i understand that. >> a heartbreaking moment streamed live on social media. >> a young woman is now accused of killing her teenage sister in a car accident and streaming it online. investigators are in disbelief. good evening and thank you for joining us. i'm ama daetz. >> and i'm dan ashley. we begin with new details on that wreck involving sisters from stockton. >> tonight the parents of the driver say she needs help. her 14-year-old sister died in friday's crash. to night we're hearing from the teen's friend who survived the crash near loss banos. >> lilian kim is here with the story. >> reporter: they were both in the back seat, manuela survived by jacquelin did not. a tragic car crash made even more tragic that it was being

live streamed by the person who was behind the wheel. >> she wasn'teik l everybody else. like she was just funny and she would be funny -- she didn't even need to try. >> reporter: manuela seja only suffered cuts to her legs but she lost her friend she met seven months ago on instagram, the same social media platform that captured the crash live for everyone to see. she and jacquelin were in the backside as jacquelin's older system obdulia sanchez was driving. obdulia ended up losing control. the car rolled into a bashed wire fence and ended up in a field near los banos. the girls in the back were not wearing seatbelts and were eject. even then live streaming continued. >> i know i'm going to jail for life. i understand that. i know i killed my sister. this is the last thing i wanted to happen, okay? all right. i don't [ bleep ] care though.

i'm going to hold it down. >> reporter: obdulia is now in the merced county jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. her parents vn spoken to their 18-year-old daughter but have seen the video. >> what i feel, she feels about herself, she killed her own sister. >> reporter: although obdulia spoke in the moments after the crash to anyone who was watching, she is currently refusing to talk to chp investigators. lilian kim, "abc 7 news." and someone opened fire on a car on highway 242 in concord. it happened saturday night near concord avenue. the victim wasn't hurt but a bullet shattered his car's rear window. he says a man in a mercedes was driving erratically, stopped on the shoulder of the road and fired when he drove by. tonight a father is being accuse chd of leaving his 16 day old infant is a city parking lot. police sent out the image of the

abandoned baby carrier at the shopping center. some barber shop employees found the infant and called the police, the plits arrested daniel mitchellment of child endangerment and possible possession of cocaine. a long-time nanny caught assaulting a baby last october was sentenced to one year in alameda jail for 44 year olding rid perez. she is also barred from working as a caretaker. perez was arrested after the boy's parents showed police video of perez hitting, slapping and throwing the boy. to an i-team exclusive interview with held of the san francisco fbi. that interview and federal court recordings just obtained give chilling details about a man who prosecutors say support isis. >> reporter: 22 year old was born in lodai, lived at this west oakland complex at the time of his arrest.

he was communicating online with a confidential source working with the fbi, prosecutors say planning attacks on behalf of isis. the i-team obtained reports from his november hearing. he wanted to start a huge fire near the area he lived, and he specifically mentioned the berkley hills as potential target. >> reporter: one of several violent plans. the fib of the fbi san francisco office tells me the vast majority of tips that come in each year don't pan out, but agents move on this wone quickl >> this was very serious, top priority for the office for better part of a year. >> reporter: police say amer sinan alhaggagi spoke about plans to start fires in san francisco, sell cocaine laced with rat poison and he downloaded a bomb making manual on to his computer. >> and he told confidential source number one, i live close to san francisco, that's like the guy capital of the world. i'm going to handle them, lol, i'm going to play a bomb in a

gay club, by god i'm going to tear up the city. >> reporter: amer sinan alhaggagi took an undercover agent on a tour of the bay area, and he wanted to plant backpack bombs at the door. the undercover agent arranged a storage year where he agreed to take supplies for the plot. he showed up with three backpacks at one meeting to supposedly obtain bomb. amer sinan alhaggagi applied for a job with the oakland police department. >> if he was unable to make bombs himself his intent to was to work for the police department. in that context he said, i'm going to redefine terror. >> reporter: oakland police were aware of the investigation so there was no chance of him getting a job. he was drawn into online discussions on which he did not intend to take actions according to friends. >> how much of what these

allegations are, are very stupid and very inappropriate and very disturbing puffery and how much was intended to be acted out? >> this was more than day dreaming. this was something we invested a lot of time and effort into. the fbi does not do that or law enforcement doesn't do that unless there's a clear and present danger. >> reporter: prosecutors say amer sinan alhaggagi claimed he could take 500 lives for sure, but his goal was 10,000. last week his family put out a statement saying that he is peaceful and kind. he did not think those conversations were serious, and he never had any intent to harm anyone. for the i-team, dan noyes, "abc 7 news." one medical expert now believes east bay teenager jihad mcmath is alive even though other doctors proclaimed her brain dead. she is on a ventilator in new jersey where she was moved. she suffered brain damage following complications from

surgery to remove her tonsils in 2013 when she was 13. a ucla neurologist says she displayed signs of life by responding to simple com manlds. her family wants a federal court to declare her legally eye life. coyote sightings aring creasing in sunnyvale and family pets are becoming prey. the latest sighting was reported on tangerine way. katie marzullo. >> reporter: it happened in this area and the owner tells us she had no idea her beloved pet was in danger of coyotes here. her husband was leaving for work around 5:00 a.m. when he made the gruesome discovery. >> saw three in this court, coyotes attacking my cat of nearly 14 years. >> reporter: their surveillance camera captured this video of a coyote in the street with snowball. >> as i was coming out to collect what was left and he --

"abc 7 news" katie utehs is in the newsroom. >> reporter: this story is about incredible timing and strength. here is a story of how two women managed to hold a man above water until health arrived. this family of five with one on the way embarked on a kayaking adventure in kauai. as he traveled back to the okay, he clipped a wasp nest. two women from san jose, mr. shill garcia winner. >> and then he starts foaming at the mouth. >> the women jumped in and wedged themselves between kayaks to keep jake afloat. >> pam is whit perring in his ear, don't die on us, your family is watching, do not die, breathe, breathe. the kids would yell breathe, dad. >> his wife emily, who is six months pregnant, called 911 while my sell kicked break to keep his brain alert.
