great year for me. and it even kind of broke me on certain days. to tell us a little bit more about the difficulties and hardships of capturing images like this, mike joins us live right this minute. how you doing? >> hey. >> how are you? >> you even describe it at some points breaking down into tears because you say you were even disappointed with yourself? >> it was a long season. and up until like, middle of june i hadn't really gotten some of the stuff i really wanted. like, i had been out for 12 straight days away from my family. drove home from montana 18 hours, two hours of sleep. i had to come home and tell my life and say i'm sorry i'm flying out in 24 hours. when you've been working that hard you lose it for a minute. >> what do you tell other people who might want to try this? >> persistence and time. the end of the video is this amazing sunset with clouds that i've never seen before like that. and we were chasing kind of
1:38 am
like, a subpar setup in north dakota which i never would have been there in the first place. it ends up being the best part of the whole film to me. >> the images are beautiful. do you ever feel in danger? >> that happened this year. i had tour guestwis with me. we got through it but as we got south, a monster hail core exploded. no tornado is going to happen right here i know it in my gut, but you're still freaked out. my buddy was holding his jacket against the window because it just sounded like something was going to explode. >> how is the technology and social media changed the storm chasing game? >> it's been great for me. i love going out there when i chase. i do spotter reports. i tweet photos out of a dust storm or low visibility they see my tweets right away and put out spotter reports and warnings. i've been responsible for like, starting like a couple dust storm warnings. >> you mentioned tours. are those also storm chasers or are they observing you?
1:39 am
do you make them sign a disclaimer? >> i have a waiver. mostly it's photographers they want to shoot weather. they go where i go and pay to be there. it's great for me. it funds my chases so i can chase and do what i want. they also get to see what they want. this is a video from australia that went hugely viral and it's going to be pretty obvious as to why. we're joining it right in the middle of a road rage incident. guy walking towards a woman outsiout her truck. >> claobs her in her face. didn't see what was happening and just the video continues. she jumps back into her truck. starts reversing towards him. the video cuts, i'm not sure as to why. maybe the guy stopped videoing. he's moved out of the way. then the video ends. this got out, a lot of people seeing it and a lot of people being outraged feeling there's
1:40 am
no excuse to walk up to a woman like that guy, that size and to absolutely clob her in the face. >> look at the way her head snapped to the hoert siother si >> if she's not braced today prepare for that you could hurt somebody. >> the viral nature of this video helps move things forward quite a bit. the guy actually turned himself in to police and has been charged with assault causing actual bodily arm. in the original video, there was a description saying there was after a woman in the front car was tossing things in the window at his car. abc australia got involved and they interviewed her and that's where more of the story came out. see those nail packets she's holding, apparently this is what she was throwing at him. her original story was she overtook him and he started tail gating and that's when she felt the need to defend herself. it seems she may have been the
1:41 am
instigator because she's been charged with malicious damages, armed with intent to commit. hanging a body outside the window and not wearing a seatbelt. she has since been released on bail. but we'll see where this story goes. you can see it right there on the right side of your screen. two walls built close together. do you know what that equals? kryptonite for anything that small. a child, a cat, and in this case, a dog. >> yeah, you're going nowhere, mate. >> the person who is walking down the alleyway to see what's going on is a founder of animal warriors india. he's going down there after getting a call being stuck. >> that dog is like, i made a big mistake. >> so happy to see you. >> so how do you think he's going to get him out? >> butter. >> oh, no. he does it the old fashioned
1:42 am
way. >> oh, dude whose wall is that you're tearing down? a dog shaped hole in the wall. >> you see him digging and digging. he's doing this all by hand to create a hole that's big enough to reach in. see right there, even though he's covered in dust, that's the dog right there. >> go. >> and watch this. he pulls him out. the dog actually tries to -- hey what you doing, tries to take a bite. it doesn't and all's well that ends well for the dog. >> that was a death sentence, for sure. i don't know what it was going after, maybe it was chasing a rat, going after some food or something. once it got in there it wasn't getting out. >> he thinks the dog was walking on top of the wall and fell down there. >> that's why cats do it, not dogs. water park and amusement parks, so much fun but you have to follow the rules to a t. this is at a water park and you have two women there on a slide.
1:43 am
it's clear they have come to a stop. now, in spanish, they're telling someone get out of the way before they can finally finish their slide. unfortunately, someone else is sliding up behind them. >> oh, my goodness. >> whoever was making them stop. >> that's ridiculous. you just don't do that. >> that sound of the bodies impacting is brutal. >> according to one of the posters of the video, someone had a broken vertebra and a traumatic brain injury. >> that is why you have to follow the rules like you said. you're having fun and then your life is completely changed. in this next video, on this ferris wheel, you see one of the workers of the ferris wheel climbing up on it. because one of the gondolas that has already circulated up above has a child in it. a toddler. according to reports as the parents of the child was getting off the ride kept moving and the
1:44 am
kid got stuck inside. by the time it got to the top the child was terrified. >> why climb up? >> the child is stuck somehow and they're afraid if they keep moving it might injure the child. >> the door to the gondola was hanging open. >> they probably thought this is a kid, he's going to fall out. >> fortunately they were able to lower it down. the kid is fine, there were no injuries because of this. be extra careful if you're going to go on some of these rides. it's a constant battle when it comes to the claw game. >> these things are rigged. >> i'm ready to call consumer protection. find out if they're able to defeat the machine. >> oh! and a hack that will blow your mind. >> i am curious to see how he gets around it. >> see if this technique impresses you. >> hang on a second, it's a hack using a knife? >> yes. nder bender tonight in an unreasonably narrow fast food drive thru lane.

and you'll learn how luminess air has reinvented the airbrush to make it easier to use than ever before. airbrush makeup was born in hollywood because it gets the very best look. oscar- and emmy award-winning makeup artists switched to using airbrush because it eliminates the heavy, unnatural look of liquids and powders. airbrush makes everyone who wears it look younger. ve neill is an eight-time academy award-nominated makeup artist. she's worked on some of the biggest movies in history, including the "pirates of the caribbean" films and "the hunger games." she knows how beautiful airbrush makeup looks. >> it's a really flawless, very soft, velvety look, plush. it gives your skin a really plush look. >> announcer: john elliott is an oscar nominee and was the head makeup artist on "desperate housewives." >> airbrush makeup is so sheer, it's so natural-looking, that people just look and say, "god, you're glowing. i don't know why, but you look great." >> announcer: every woman knows that with fingers, sponges, and brushes, it's very hard to get a smooth, natural look.
2:03 am
airbrush beautifully covers your flaws with the smoothest, most natural look available in any makeup anywhere. but until now, you had to be a celebrity. not anymore. now airbrush is for everyone. luminess air has made this hollywood secret to beauty and looking younger foolproof. the airbrush works by adding just a few drops of foundation to the stylus. then start the air source. air enters through the hose, and when you pull back on the button, the air and the foundation mix into an ultra-fine mist. tiny particles of makeup cover the skin completely, creating a beautiful, smooth, and natural appearance. it erases flaws and softens wrinkles. >> luminess air is the easiest, best, most natural-looking makeup i have ever used. they've made it so simple and so easy that you really can -- anybody can do it. i have a lot of brown spots on my face -- melasma. it's really hard to cover it up. they're incredibly dark. they're all along the sides of
2:04 am
my face. before i'd started using luminess, i'd just given up. there wasn't anything that was gonna cover it, anyway, so i just stopped using anything. i'm ecstatic about luminess. i'm ecstatic about how easy it is, how fast and convenient and how much it covers. people have been complimenting me on my skin, which is something that never used to happen. luminess air is amazing. >> announcer: the luminess air system was designed for regular women to use at home. it's so easy to use, it's practically foolproof. >> to my surprise, it was so easy. you just look in the mirror, and you just start putting it on over your skin, and you start to see, immediately, the results. >> announcer: ordinary makeup is way too heavy to get a natural look. it exaggerates skin problems and cakes up throughout the day. it makes you look older. luminess air is just the opposite. it's so light, it actually uses up to 10 times less makeup than ordinary liquids. >> my old foundation would sit in the pores, like spackle in a nail hole. it didn't look pretty. it didn't look smooth.
2:05 am
it looked like something yucky. when i picked up the airbrush for the first time, i could see the difference. i thought, "this is the one. this is the one that's gonna work." >> announcer: our new and improved luminess airbrush with our new no-mess tip now makes airbrushing even easier and more controllable. this new tip eliminates overspray and gives you complete control. just watch how luminess air makes this age spot disappear. there's no traditional makeup in the world that can do this. only airbrush with luminess air. it really is this fast and easy. >> i'm gonna show you how easy it is to go from naked face to beautiful coverage using the luminess airbrush. i have some problem areas, like this big sun spot here that isn't going away, and it tends to get a little darker, especially in the summertime. i also have redness and rosacea on my cheeks and ny nose area, so i have a challenge trying to cover everything up, but yet have it not be too heavy so that it accentuates the wrinkles. i like to use about four drops.
2:06 am
that gives me the coverage that i need. and then i'm gonna push the button. you can feel the soft air blowing on your skin. it feels really nice. and then i'm gonna pull that lever back as i'm doing the little circles, and i can feel the cool mist on my skin. it feels really nice, actually. so, you can see the redness on my cheeks, so i'm gonna focus on that now. look at how that covers. i've got a spot on my chin i'm gonna focus on. now i'm over here working on that sun spot and the rosacea that's showing up there. it's not even going into my hair. it's not going into my eyes. i'm going right around my eye area. this tip is great for giving you wonderful precision, no mess around your hair line or onto your clothes or in your eyes. and you can feel exactly where it's going. it's so easy to control. nothing to be afraid of. okay. so, that's it. i'm done. wow.
2:07 am
i love it. it looks so wonderfully even, and it covered up the sun damage, the rosacea, the redness of my nose. and look how even i am. that's amazing. i love it. >> announcer: take a look at this blemish. now you see it. now you don't. >> it is amazing. >> announcer: do you see this age spot? don't blink. it's gone like magic. >> luminess is stupendous. >> announcer: watch this redness disappear at the touch of a button. airbrush makeup is the hollywood secret to beauty. now airbrush is for everyone. you'll cover all your flaws and look years younger. >> it is the best coverage you'll ever have, and you will look stupendous. i promise you. >> announcer: luminess air uses up to 10 times less makeup than liquid foundations applied with your fingers. so instead of exaggerating wrinkles and pores, luminess gives your skin a ft
