n, tracking summer thunderstorms. right now on live doppler 7 sincere mostly showers. i want y to into street level radar, but before that i want to show you the thunderstorms that roll through the inland east bay around brentwood, discovery bay just hours ago. we had quite a bit of lightning there and numerous reports on social media atut now tracking rain. street level ray lar around fair feel, texas street as airbase parkway and also seeing some light returns around san lorenzo, castro valley, across 580 into hayward. the moisture is shifting westward moving towards the san francisco from oak lan. no all is reaching the ground, but keep in mind this moisture south.en coming in this is the summer monsoon season for obviously the desert southwest and that moisture plume coming in from southern california towards the bay area has been responsible for the active weather and the flooding rains that parts of southern california had to deal with.

it is so warm outside right now when you take a look at the dew points it is uncomfortable. temperatures really warm, but then you have dew points in the low 60s. oakland, san francisco, san jose, and that's humid as you take a look at this chart here between 60 and 69 for the bay area. definitely blame it on the monsoon flow feeling sticky out there. from our "abc 7 news" exploratorium camera a beautiful view looking towards san francisco. it will be muggy tomorrow and fire danger remains elevated. the cooling trend will continue. i want to show you the hour-by-hour forecast. not all of the moisture will reach the ground, but while you are sleeping that monsoon flow is continue. so definitely potential for some more showers into the morning commute, and potential is there for an isolated thunderstorm or two. but the threat will diminish as we head towards the afternoon hours. you will noticist i primarily .
