happened on the pedestrian bridge around 3:00. a group wearing bandanas and hoodies started yelling and threatening people. fire rages destroying more than a dozen cars. the blame was likely an accident. matt keller has the story from campbell. >> reporter: the flames were huge as they destroyed this carport in an apartment complex in campbell just off hamilton aver. residents had to quickly decide whether to stay or go. steve shot this video on cell phone. his back fence was destroyed by the flames. >> the whole carport went up pretty quick. >> reporter: 16 vehicles were destroyed. campbell police evacuated some apartments just in case but firefighters were able to keep the flames away.

ramon. call is being made to untangle a section of roads known as the hairball. something needs to be done about the web of freeway arteries that interlock over caesar chavez street. the area is called a mess and would like a chunk of the freeway under ground. so far she's persuaded her colleagues to set aside $220,000 at what could billion a 25 year freeway redesign project. it's based on community input which first broke ground in february of last year. the crosswalks are similar to those at castro street. completed in 2015. not only are they kind of fun to

one of the country's largest cannibus companies is soon to be the owner of an entire california town. american green is paying close to $5 million for the town of nipton. the company is planning to turn nipton into a pot friendly destination after it becomes legal january 1st. they plan to bottle and sell ca cannibus infused water. weed is already taken. people waited in line for hours to visit a pop up store from one of the most popular hip hop artists of the last five years. some people got in line last night to wait for it to open at 11:00 this morning. the pop up shop is only open today until 7:00 p.m. fans told us they wanted to come
