we could be dealing with sprinkles especially along the coast. so clearing by noontime and then this afternoon mostly sunny for everyone. the clouds stick around at the coast, but you notice temperatures are a bit cooler especially inland and around the bay. enjoy the beautiful sunday, sunset is at 8:12. this morning there is tight ir security at dolores park after a tripping shooting last week. law enforcement joined neighbors during a movie night at the park last night to try to ease everyone's fears. five suspects are still on the loose. ♪ >> reporter: at dolores park, movie fans cut loose to "footloose," all under the watchful eye of police, park rangers and private security. >> it makes us feel a lot safer. >> reporter: this is the first

major event since thursday's shooting. the suspects crossed the foot bridge into the park at church street wearing bandanas and hoodies. and then they started shooting at three people, a 16-year-old boy and a 37-year-old and a 69-year-old man. san francisco police have upped patrols assigning two officers to the park daily which didn't go unnoticed by this group. >> we try to be out by sundown because generally it's not the best place. especially because of the shooting, you don't want to put yourself in a situation that could be a bat thing. >> reporter: but for the most part, movie night attendees didn't want to let thursday's shooting stop a tradition that makes san francisco what it is. >> you just enjoy it too much. it's part of the city and we live in the city and we don't want to be afraid. >> i kind of felt it was a one time incident that occurred and it's not something that we hear about, i haven't heard about it in the neighborhood. >> reporter: event organizers say the turnout is the same as

any eother movie night. abc 7 news. developing news in san francisco where police are searching for young women who pepper sprayed at least one passenger abort a b.a.r.t. train, it happened around 8:30 last night at the embarcadero bhart o b.a.r.t. station. b.a.r.t. radio gives us more information. the suspects escaped. it is unclear whether they made off with any stolen property. san francisco police are investigating a stabbing aboard a muni shuttle bus, it happened just after 9:00 last night at

market and delores streets. authorities say there were two passengers involved in the stabbing. no word yet on the extent of the injuries or if anyone has been arrested. a stubborn fire that broke out last week in the mills above uc berkeley is completely out this morning. firefighters fully contained the flames yesterday. the fire started wednesday afternoon on grizzly peak. investigators are looking into whether it was set intentionally. drone view 7 gives us a look at the scorched land. firefighters say 20 acres of brush and trees burned. we're learning more about the suspects of a nationwide manhunt found here in the bay area. two men are accused of killing a hairstylist in chicago, a stabbing so violent police say the knife broke off in the victim. abc 7 news reporter cornell barnard has our story. >> reporter: two wanted men on the run, now in custody for the

brutal murder ever a chicago man. 42-year-old wiyndham latham sur tre reb kerred peace pli an and drew warren, an employee at oxford university in england, gave himself up in san francisco around the same time. both men face first-degree murder charges in the stabbing death of 26-year-old trenton cornell. chicago police found his body nine days ago describing a horrific crime scene inside professor latham's chicago apartment. the same day an hour away in wisconsin, the two suspects made a mysterious $1,000 donation to a public library in his name. investigators believe professor latham and the victim had a relationship. according to chicago police, latham sent a video to family and friends apologizing for the murder saying it is the biggest mistake of my life.

gray clouds over most of the bay area and even fog and drizzle closer to the coast. but check out this live shot of the golden gate bridge, you can see clear across the span totally socked in yesterday. so it's a little different. san francisco 58, oakland 60, mountain view 64, san jose 65. and check out the shot of the bay bridge. a little bit of a sea breeze, you can see the flags blowing. so notice it's not as muggy as it was yesterday morning. we're seeing a lot more 50s out there. we've been waking up to temperatures in the 70s. but right now you can expect most of them in the 50s. santa rosa, napa, concord, river more a little milder in the low 60s. and let me show you the cloud animation. so by 9:00, most of us already in the clear except for portions of the north bay and we had low clouds still spilling in across san francisco into parts of east bay. and then the clouds retreat back to the coast by the afternoon, push its way back this again

overnight into tomorrow. so we could see morning drizzle once again. highs today a little bit cooler compared to yesterday especially in the inland areas. so we'll only top out in the upper 80s in answer yok and in san jose, 80 for you there. san francisco, it will be breezy especially as you head to the beaches and cloudy there, as well. we'll hit 66, oakland 70, san jose 80 as i mentioned. and also if you are heading to the beaches, it will be mild every and you can get some relief there with temperatures mainly in the 60s. expect a sea breeze of about 10 to 20 miles an hour. and also the last day of the santa clara county fair, so if you want to enjoy that, t shirts and shorts weather once again, slatt slather on the sunscreen. a mild start. we'll hit the low 80s by the afternoon mch and sti afternoon.

in 1961. copies of newspaper articles highlighting the event live behind this glass display. but with time, the band lost some of its thunder until this past year when they got a new director and money. grants from the pg and e pipeline explosion settlement are currently being used for school music programs. the band received $19,000 last year and will get another $116,000 over the next three years. >> they wanted to ensure that the community would benefit from that event that really kind of destroyed a neighborhood and affected everybody in the area. >> reporter: the bachbd has now nearly doubled in size. now they can make more instrument, unforms and travel. >> seeing the band grow from barely anything, it's -- wow. >> one of the goals for us as a
