morning commute and that is countercommute as it is. another issue on the eastbound side of 80 just before state route 37 multicar crash that was pushed off to the side as well in the vallejo stretch. couple minor issues but nothing major as you start your commute. we'll check on drive times in just a few minutes. on to developing news in the east bay where police are investigating flyers found with skats kaz and and anti-muslim message. >> they held a rally last night to say hate is not wim welcome in alameda. amy. >> reporter: hi. they held that rally right here to show support for the community. one of the flyers was found near the islamic center here on santa clara avenue in alameda. take a look at the flyer. 2 is creating outrage in alameda. four of them were found. it has a swastika and a woman wearing a ha jib.

we knew immediately we had to stand up, report it. the majority of hate crimes and hate incidents go unreported, so we knew that it was important to stand up and be counted. >> reporter: last week the temple israel in alameda was vandalized swastikas were drawn on the property so now this issue is going to be addressed at the next city council meeting. one idea being discussed is more training so people can identify hate crime and report it more quickly. reporting live in alameda, amy hollyfield, abc 7 news. the man charged with the murder of an off-duty oakland firefighter will make his first court appearance. he is accused of shooting jake walter and another firefighter last thursday night. second man survived and is stilled in the hospital. firefighters were confront by at least two men in a japantown neighborhood. they were shot without warning after a brief exchange of words.

they still haven't found the weapon. walters and his colleague had just graduate from the fire academy in april. now from the live desk. >> there's more breaking news at the life desk that i'm tracking a big train crash in pennsylvania early this morning. dozens of people are injured and right now investigators are looking into how the train crashed. officials say 42 people were hurt when the train krachd crashed into an unoccupied parked train newspaperer darby just outside of philadelphia. happened just after midnight local time. train operator was treat and released from the hospital. a spokes penn for the transportation authority says none of the injuries are serious, so that's good news. some trains are operateding on a normal schedule this morning. i'll keep my eye on updates. back to you. four men accused of being members behind the terror cell behind the barcelona attack are under arrest this morning. the 22-year-old eluded police for four days.

new pressure on pakistantor sheltering terrorists insisting that much change. the city of richmond has three weeks to repeal a decision dismission its lawsuit over the traufrp administration for the sanctuary city policy. they say the threat to withhold funds from sanctuary cities is unconstitutional. a federal court judge says richmond does not have standing to challenge the president's order. the ruling says richmond has not established a history of refusing to cooperate with immigration officials. >> happening today were we're going to get an update on construction of one of two bart stations opening next year in the south bay. the $2.3 billion station include the milpitas stations. it will include a parking ga rage and connect to bta light rail service. when they're finished bart expects about 23,000 riders to pass through the stations every day. both the milpitas and barry yes, sir stations are expected to

now a live desk update. >> from abc 7 mornings. >> take a look at that video i just got into our live desk. this is rescuers pulling out a 7-month-old baby from the rubble of a home in italy. it's after an earthquake hit the italian island of is kia. magnitude 4.3 quake killed at least one woman and firefighters are calling this particular rescue a miracle after they pulled baby out about seven hours after the quake. they took him and his mother to the mopt as a precaution. and italian media reports a second child has actually been pulled from the rubble. firefighters are still working to rescue a third brother but there have been rescues underway

all night long. more than 3 dozen people are being treat ford minor injuries right now. back to you. >> the final phase of demolition work on the old bay bridge is about to begin. starting labor day weekend crews will implode 13 concrete peers that used to hold up this span. this is video from an implosion that happened last year. they say the demolition work say year ahead of schedule. that should save taxpayers nearly $10 million. caltrans will stop traffic on the bridge for a few minutes during each implosion as a precaution. we have new legislation, a new state bill would ahead a civil rights law that prohibits sexual harassment in the workplace. according to lawmakers, too many female entrepreneurs face sexual harass bhent trying to get funding from venture capitalists. >> the extent of sexual harassment where women who simply is want to pitch an idea, a technological idea to these

>> sure, it will be a couple of pop tarts four two from the circle 7 cafe. >> make it a toaster strudelnd a a little bit better too, okay. all right. here's a look at what's going on. san jose you can see some of the clou cover down there. it's unusual that they're a little cloudier than everybody else but that's the way the day is setting up on this unusual week so far. brighter and warmer this afternoon, low clouds and fog develop tonight. inland heat wave develops next week. we could get near triple digits inland. that's next week. let's talk about this week starting with this morning and you can see the cloud cover retreating back to the coast easily by lunchtime and even some holes in the clouds will develop along the coast this afternoon. so look for a little more sunshine there. let's see what it does to your temperatures down in the south bay. we're in the mid to upper 70s in milpitas, sunnyville and everybody else low to mid-80s until you get to las gatos, morgan hill and gilroy upper 70s there.
