immigrants from deportation. amy hollyfield is live in san francisco with more on what's happening. amy. >> reporter: hi, jessica. san francisco mayor ed lee is going to be showing his support for daca today here on the steps of city hall and he will be joined by so-called drooemers. that's happening this afternoon. we all know attorney general jeff sessions has been pushing president trump to end daca, the deferred action for childhood arrivals and now word is that the sprez going to do just that. san francisco officials say they are ready do what they can to fight for it. >> i don't think there's much chance that we're going to change trump's mind, but i think what we can do is make a very strong statement of support for daca and for whatever congress decides to do. >> the fate of nearly 800,000 daca recipients would then be in the hands of congress.

we have been trying to confirm with caltrain if that's going to impact service this morning. we did talk to their representatives a few minutes ago. sounds like we're going to have a bus bridge today between palo alto and redwood city stations but we've not confirmed that yet. so standing by for more information there. also a quick check of the san mateo bridge, westbound 92 still looking good yust before you get to that point. we do still have that disabled tractor trailer block being the right lane, no back up yet. thank you. on a related note, it's taking carmakers longer to sell their cars. more than two months is the average now, but they're not panicking. the proof, 0% deals hard to come by. a few months ago they were everywhere, but not now. the automotive experts at edmonds.com are reporting that automakers have been stingy with those financing deals only 10% of loans in august had 0 aprs compared to 15% last august.
