in oakland, eric. and charges have been dismissed against one of the officers in the sex scandal that has been so much news. the judge said there was insufficient evidence to show that officer brian bunton had obstructed justice and engaged in prosecution. the city of oakland agreed to pay her about $1 million to settle a lawsuit. she's filed a similar lawsuit against other claims. and we are just learning that a gun stolen from the car of a san francisco police officer was used in a gang-related killing. it happened about a month ago but details of the investigation were just released in the last hour. investigators say the weapon is the officer's personal gun and it was stolen from his vehicle last month.
