silencio is a plealeor fe t. rescuers in mexico trying to listen for anybody still trapped beneath the rubble. tonight they think they've made contact with a young girl.

dmai and ama have the night off. just after 1:00 a.m. in mexico city, 36 hours after the 7.1 magnitude quake hit and girl is said to be responding to rescuers at elementary, with at least two others and still alive. nationwide death toll is more than 230. abc news reporter >> reporter: frantic search for life peeking into the debris, raising hands above their heads to silence the crowd, listening for sounds of life. made contact with a girl. 2113 and foureachers have t died there. in ruins but backpacks hang
