>> what an amazing story. that is rickey being rickey. moving on, the alameda county sheriff's office is using social media to track down the owner of some lost property. they posted these photos of a woman on facebook. they say they found valuable property and memories belonging to her including these photos that were on an sd card. the items ended up in the sheriff's evidence room and had likely been stolen from the woman. some cars driving on highway 1 got an unexpected soaking today. rorge sent us this video from moss beach. a driver in a convertible was one of those who was caught off guard. it's the wrong spot for a convertible. a water line next to the highway burst this afternoon. we're told it tookutbo a a wate. well, this may be the last day of summer, but winter has arrived at least temporarily tonight in the sierra. this video was at mammoth resort today. the snow was also coming down in the tahoe national forest. as many as 16 vehicles were involved in a deadly crash this morning on interstate 80 near
