and spread all throughout the area. so do be careful with that if you're out and about. your day planner consists of numbers, cool right now, 70s throughout the noontime hour around the bay and inland. mid-80s today with warmest locations out to the east bay valleys. but look at the numbers on the coast, near 70 degrees. this is just sunday. the warming trend taking us through much of the upcoming workweek. details in a few minutes. carolyn? from football to basketball and now baseball, pro athletes are taking a stand against president trump. open a's catcher bruce maxwell said it was a decision long time coming. now during the national anthem yesterday he bowed after the president blasted nfl players for doing the same thing. maxwell is the first major league baseball to join the growing protest. he says mr. trump's rhetoric on twitter took the movement to another level. yesterday the catcher tweeted,
