the business, so we set them on an epic advente through the restaurants at dney springs where you can find dining experiences created by celebrity and awd-winning chefs. watch them in action. ♪ hey everybody, i'm jackie. >> and i'm michelle. >> and we normally are in "the chew" kitchen, but they let us out today into disney springs to go on a crazy culinary challenge. our mission today is to go to three different dining destinations and complete three different tasks. if we complete these tasks, we actually win a prize for you guys. so, let's open up this envelope and see where we're heading. okay, "disney springs is full of great places to eat. head to the kiosk for a canadian treat." >> okay. >> canadian treat? canadian treat, we need to find like a directory or something. ♪ poutine's canadian, yeah? >> oh, 100%! >> okay, let's go there. >> i think i see something. >> oh, my gosh, let's go. poutine! oh, my gosh. you're at the daily poutine.

[ cheers and applause ] now, this is one of my favorite pastas of all time i made it -- mario, you can -- >> bite in? >> yeah. so, what i have, have some italian sausage in here that we cooked and browned. and i like to give it the potato masher after it's browned up so i get those real good little crunchy bits all broken up. m.b., you could throw the broccoli rabe right in there with it. >> sometimes you can just tell when something's gonna be great. >> and this is gonna be good. so, we put in a pinch of salt now. we also -- we like it a little

bit spicy, so we put in some chili flakes. and then i slice up the garlic very thin like this. i don't add it right away. i'm gonna let the rabe break down a little bit and then add the garlic and let it continue to cook. now, another little tip at home, i was telling mario at the break is when kyle was little, he liked the rabe really tender, so i would throw it in with the pasta, so it would cook down a little bit more and then i add the whole thing to together. >> and flavor the noodle. >> and flavor the noodle. >> with its vociferous deliciousness! >> we got all kinds of stuff here on "the chew!" so, we're gonna let this cook down. i'm gonna drop my fresh orecchiee in the water that's seasoned heavily with salt. this is gonna cook during the break. you need to stick around. and we're gonna see how this adventure turns out when you get back. ♪ [ cheers and applause ]

[ cheers and applause ] >> hey, everybody, welcome back to "the chew." i am finishing up my orecchiette pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe, a dish you can make in a pinch. now, here's how we made this -- we took the sausage and browned

it until it was really dark and golden, smashed it with a potato masher. m.b. cut up that broccoli rabe, we threw it in with it, added some chili flakes, some sliced garlic and all that beautiful rendered fat from the sausage is the base of the sauce. now we took our orecchiette pasta, dropped it in till it was nice and tender in salted water. we're going to add that to our puzzle. then about a ladle of that salted pasta water, which is going to kind of bring the fat from the sausage -- and everything all together. and i like to at this point, just let it go for about ten seconds, to kind of come back up to a simmer. >> i like to eat it right now! >> right now! >> and then i turn off the heat, i add my cheese -- >> now is that parm or pec? >> pec. >> all right. >> little bit of pec! >> pecorino, for those tha aren't on a first name, nickname basis.
