afternoon. oakland police and the fbi revealed they solved the murder of a musician more than two and a half years ago. emiliano died after being shot on 14th street early sunday morning. he had just finished playing his music inside the golden bowl bar. detectives believe the shooter aimed for somebody else but instead navarroes and wounded another person. >> i hope this brings some closure to the family. it doesn't bring their son back. i can tell you, the family is devastated. >> we could not have done this without the community as well. >> the detectives credit surveillance footage from nearby businesses with helping find the killer. >> day four of testimony in the kate steinle murder trial is underway. today, the a witness testified about the theft of his weapon

which the suspect jose enes garcia zarate fired, killing steinle. he said he put the gun behind his backpack and he went to have dinner. when he came back, he found back seat window smashed and the backpack and gun gone. he reported it right away. leanne is in the courtroom and she'll have reaction coming up. mill pete as high school went on lockdown twice today after two separate reports of students bringing guns to will 62. earlier today, police arrest ad 14-year-old boy who waved a handgun in the school bathroom. no one was hurt. in the second incident, police talked on a second student off campus but no weapon has been found. there have been three eincidents around the bay area this week involving students bringing guns to school. the san francisco 49ers organization talked about the distrust between the police and

the communities they serve. abc7 news reporter david louie has reports on why nine cities have signed on. >> reporter: they call at this time pledge for more understanding and safer america. here in the bay area, the deputy and police associations in oak larnd, san jose and santa clara county have signed up. the goal to get the police and community members to start talking to each other with open hearts and minds. these and other police officers admit they've been angry and upset by players taking a knee. criticizing how they deal with citizens. but they switched from defensive to offensive strategy today. nine officers associations from the bay area, los angeles, and as far away from new york city, signed a pledge to join the 49ers to tend divisions and to work toward better relations. >> our hope is through education, both officers and he

the new higher tier pricing plan was plenty to satisfy customers who want the best streaming quality. even on their mobile devices. in august, verizon wireless announced it would throttle video streaming of its unlimited data customers down to as little as 480 p. today it is being reported, those customers will once again be able to get 1080 p or even 4 k video streaming for $10 a month more. that would bring the plans to $95 a month. the new option is expected to begin november 3rd. it is for customers who wanted higher video quality. if you're watching me right now, it might not be through a cable channel. comcast reports that more viewers are cutting the cord and watching tv with streaming services. they lost 1,000 subscribers. that's up from 34 losses in the second quarter. several traditional providers report a dwindling customer
