city workers were traffic because the lights were out. pg&e is investigating the cause of the outage. >> sky 7 flew over a bridge in contra costa county that collapsed. the newly repaired alhambra valley road just reopened to traffic a short time ago. you can see people traveling between march teenles and el sobe rante often take this route. there was a look at the washout before they began clearing the site. and we were there as crews finished up the work. and another round of rain that's just hours away. >> the clouds are beginning to gather. things will be changing. i want to show you the wider perspective. into the seattle portland area, they're seeing some wet weather.

prove their case. he interrogated the shooter several hours after he was arrested. the cell phone video shows what he was wearing. a black jacket t-shirt and two pairs of pants. today the prosecutor asked him to place the gun in the right hand pocket of both the jacket and one of the pants. the gun fit nearly perfectly in both. the prosecution wants to prove that he could have had the weapon with him before he even got to the pier. >> so whether the gun was concealed in the clothing of the defendant is relevant to whether he intended to pull the trigger. and that's the evidence that you saw in court. >> but garcia zarate's attorney asked if his client's clothing had been tested for gunshot residue and he said no. if the owner had used it previously at the firing range,
