angeles has been caught in mountain view. jason kohr found in stolen vehicle. tried to fight authorities and run. subdued with taser. had been missing for over a week. serving six year sentence for auto theft, burglary and trying to evade a police officer. unsuccessful in evagd this time. high school student shot and killed near his school, olympic continuation high school. flew over as detectives searched for evidence. shot the student, described as senior. walked back to campus after 1:30 this afternoon, died after rushed to the hospital. >> prosecutors today charged walnut creek teacher with multiple sex offenses against a child under the age of ten. michael bartel faces 16 felony

sayre rautta -- first testified that trigger pull used to lights. four pounds left in single action mode, meaning ready to fire. >> if someone were to try to grab it, catch it, or if it caught an article of clothing, could discharge. talking about extremely light trigger pull. >> initially he told police he found the stolen gun at the pier and it went off when he stepped on it. later he admitted to holding the gun wrapped in a piece of cloth and examining it when it went off. prosecution has maintained that he had the gun with him all along and aimed it at steinle about 90 feet away. but the bullet ricochetted 12 to 15 feet from where he was sitting and traveled another 78 feet, striking steinle in the

committee to be -- to those who use marijuana for medical purposes. >> wondering why a city that's sanctuary for medical purposes put forth more restrictive on what the city voted on. >> should be a restriction on maximum number. >> no one objects to alcohol sold around the corner from my kid's school and cigarettes. no one said that's bad idea. >> if permitted, other businesses located in mixed use buildings, people who live next door will have to breathe marijuana smoke throughout the day. >> reporter: the committee hearing points on both sides but predominantly hearing from people asking them not to accept further restrictions as they consider this. issue will go in front of the entire board of supervisors next

week. live in san francisco, abc7 news. we now know the gunman who targeted the baptist church in texas died. less than an hour ago said that autopsy was conducted this morning. shows he was shot three times. >> two gunshot wounds from the armed citizen, one in the leg, other in the torso. and had a third gunshot wound which the medical examiner described as being consistent with being self-inflicted. >> investigators say kelley died of self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. he had a history of domestic and animal abuse. sent threatening text messages to his mother-in-law who sometimes attended the church in sutherland springs with kelley's wife. 27 people died in yesterday's

wounds, left witnesses aghast. attack happened at this spot in the plaza outside mountain view's center for the performing arts. people milling about ahead of evening performance of a musical. >> appears the suspect approached the victim, without warning began attacking him and extremely violent attack. when we got there, suspect wouldn't listen to commands for us to get off the gentleman. he was straddling him. ended up having to follow a taser. >> reporter: booking photo of jan neal from marin county. police say the taser didn't stop attack. took combined efforts of several officers to subdue him. before police arrived, bystanders tried to intervene, witness who asked not to show her face, described how pleaded for attack to stop. >> please stop, please. >> reporter: kept attacking? >> keep doing it. >> reporter: victim not
