seconds. >> 781, go around. >> reporter: the controller asked a united flight that landed before the air canada flight to move quickly so it wouldn't be in the way of another united plane landing on the adjacent runway. >> without delays, please. traffic company and they're fast. >> reporter: and while that united plane hurried, the air canada jet landed and finally responded to the tower. >> that's pretty evident. >> reporter: the faa is also investigating another air canada flight that nearly missed hitting another plane here at sfo and that incident the pilot got confused and ended up landing on a runway -- on a taxiway instead of a designated runway. reporting live from sfo, abc7 news. >> janine, thank you. pg&e is suggesting in court filings it was another company's electrical wires that would have

caused the tubbs fire. the utility did not identify the third party. cal fire is investigating the possible role downed electrical wires had in starting the inferno. a set of new fire safety rules could force pg&e to change how they install equipment. the proposal would affect the locations of lines and poles and how often they need to be inspected. regulators became concerned after wildfires in the north bay and other areas of northern california. the public utilities commission says the changes would be costly and allow utilities to raise rates to make up that money. they are scheduled to hear the proposal next month. banding together to support fire victims. g-eazy and metallica were among the performers at the at&t park. ♪ are you still out there >> met cal closed out the

temperatures today, in the 60s once again. cold weather this evening. 55 to 58. here's sue. trouble spots on the peninsula. a traffic alert is in effect. it's a multi-car accident with several lanes blocked. you can see there the long trail of red traffic is stacking up. i would avoid this and take 280 if you can. it's looking clear and good. drive time from san jose to san mateo, it's over an hour now. just a reminder, b.a.r.t. is running reduced service because they are observing veterans day today. you may find delays from pittsberg to bay point. no problems with ace or guys. the concert called band together went well past 11:00 last night.

amy ha amy hollyfield is live at at&t park. amy? >> reporter: there is post party action here as crews are taearig it all down now. it was a sellout. they announced midway through the show that they had sold the final ticket. they shined a spotlight on the fire victims and the first responders who were a big part of the night. metallica even met with some of them before the show. >> i looked every one of them in the eye and promised them we will not forget and we'll continue to support everybody and everything up in napa and sonoma while you rebuild. >> the idea for the concert was born three weeks ago. religious leaders said we have to do something. they were hoping to raise $10 million for the fire victims.

before the show even started, they were at 15 and more came in during the show and they promised all the money will go straight to the victims. the acts all performed for free. we will work on getting that final figure for you later today. so stay with us as we work on this story. reporting live in san francisco, amy hollyfield, abc7 news. no runoff problems have been seen from the showers in the north bay. they inspected burn areas yesterday and found no debris flow issues. in addition to possible mudslides, officials expressed concerns from toxins flowing into storm drains and then into creeks and the alabama republican candidate for senate is accused of assaulting a 14-year-old girl from 40 years ago. judge roy moore is calling the accusations an all-out war on

conservative values. we have more on those explosive allegations. janai? >> republicans including mitch mcconnell say if it the allegations are true, roy moore should step aside. but at this point, moore is standing firm and denying those claims. >> bombshell allegations. just a month before the alabama special election for u.s. senate, new claims republican candidate roy moore made sexual advancement towards teenage girls decades ago. >> these are not fuzzy memories. these are women who are very certain and confident about what happened to them. >> reporter: we spoke with one of the authors of the exclusive "washington post" story in which four women said they had romantic encounters with or propositions from moore when they were teenagers, including one in 1979. moore took her to his house on two occasions and on the second

15 of the investigations were in the state senate and 16 in the assembly. the documents failed to give any details like the dates of the incidents, the nature of the complaints or whether they were involving lawmakers or staff. last month, more than 140 women came forward to denounce a culture of harassment at the ste capitol. a crackdown on undocumented immigrants is being felt in the vietnamese and cambodian communities. about 100 immigrants have been detained across the country, all of whom have been convicted of a crime. even so, some may be legally allowed to stay in the u.s. >> i think there's a lot of fear in the community and one of the things we're trying to emphasize is to really know your rights. >> vietnam and cambodia have historically refused to take back people deported from the u.s. but a source tells abc7 news, new negotiations are under way that could change that which could be why the communities are being targeted.

preschool. he suffered a severe reaction last friday. the school staff called family members instead of calling 911 and the boy's mother, not in the ambulance, rushed him to the hospital. >> something so simple could have been avoided if they would have just followed or paid attention to my son's needs. >> reporter: elijah's father says the school knew about his son's dairy allergy and how dangerous it was for him to eat certain foods. several agencies are looking into the little boy's death. the new york city health department ordered the preschool to close during the investigation. dozens of homeowners in san ramon are doing landscaping thanks to uninvited guests. here they are in action. wild pigs. they bulldozed their way through several properties hunting for grubs. that is not snow. that's grass being dug up by the

with the drivers and it could have a trickle down effect worldwide. it's official, macy's will close its store at the stonestown galleria in san francisco. this is california's oldest shopping center. macy's says this location is one of three closing early next year. the announcement came as part of the department store's third-quarter earnings report. amazon is expanding its presence in whole foods stores. pop-up stores will appear inside whole foods locations across the country. shoppers will be able to try out amazon devices and learn more about prime and prime video. it's time to check in with mike nicco with a look at our forecast and showers out there, huh, mike? >> here's a look at the golden gate bridge where a live shower rolled across. things are definitely wet and slippery there. but look at the contrast down in the south bay, we started off with just a little bit of sunshine. it is dry here.

scattered to light showers. take the umbrella in the south bay. a brief break between storms tomorrow and then more rain comes in sunday night and monday and again wednesday and into thursday morning. today's temperatures, they are about the same as yesterday. 63 to 67. near 60 along the coast and around clear lake and ukiah. tonight is going to be cooler as drier air rushes in behind the storms and the clouds start to open. low to mid-40s in the deepest inland valleys with mid-40s to 50s. san francisco, the mild spot. in fact, in san francisco, daly city, bay view, south san francisco, brisbane, all getting some wet weather now and you can see the bigger shield moving across the north bay where we can get puddles developing there. the area of low pressure is still wakening and this is the last chance for showers out of this storm and they will increase in coverage as we head through the morning commute and into the lunch hour and then after the lunch hour they'll go from scattered down to about

isolated and then it will just become random to nothing as we head through the evening hours. here's a look at what i expect. a couple hundredths in some areas. nearly a quarter of an inch to possibly half an inch in some of the higher elevations in the north bay. veterans day, mild temperatures. a southerly breeze increases our temperatures by a degree or two. monday morning, the commute is going to be wet and possibly same thing for wednesday morning into the afternoon hours. how about this morning's commute. sue? >> good morning, everyone. happy friday. the big problem spot we have a traffic alert on the peninsula northbound 101 after the embarcadero. the red line is expanding and the backup growing to almost highway 85. let's look at the slow and go 3d map as we zoom in on to the scene. that's where 85 is merging on to 101. very slow traffic there. i would definitely take 280.
