and quarter of an inch in san jose not recording anything yet, though it's raining. here's a look at some of that rain rolling through walnut creek, as we look south on 680, steady rain and scattered showers this afternoon emplgts clear from north to south tonight, mildest in the south bay, and our next storm, it's falling apart. so if your roof is leaking -- you might be happy about that. here's what's going on on the peninsula. we do have steady light rain there. we have marin wood, novato, sandwiched between that, some moderate rain. contentfield that will also get to you. look at this, another surge of moderate to possible downpours about to hit from san rafael all the way down to the santa cruz mountains. so let's go hour by hour. there you go. at 7:00 we're still seeing plenty of yellow from the bay bridge southward.

let's see where it goes by noon. it's still in the south bay, about 237 southward, and then after the lunch hour, you can see it quickly moves down to the south. then you have these dots of green, even some yellow. there may be a slight burst of moderate rain, but notice how they're very few and far between by 7:00. overnight they're still out there. here comes the slow clearing, starting at 4:00 in the north bay, you could see it barely get to the part of the bay by 7:00, but by tomorrow afternoon, look at the sunshine. we'll have a urge goous evening, albeit much cooler. low to mid 60s with all of that sunshine. sue? >> we are going to the golden gate bridge, where we have wet conditions and we have three lanes both directions. they have yet to get the zipper truck out there. standing water is the big issue,
