that was going in circles. video from sky7 shows the boat spinning off the coast of half moon bay. the coast guard says the pillar point harbormaster pulled a body out of the water but another person is still missing. their identities haven't been announced. but this is a boat out of vallejo. and this is a dangerous situation. they don't know if the missing person is still on the boat or in the ocean. from what they can tell, it doesn't appear anyone is on the boat. if someone is on board and needs help, the coast guard says there's really nothing they can do as it's too dangerous for their crews to approach. we've been getting updates from the coast guard over the phone. you can follow us on twitter to get the latest. >> much appreciated. now to the plane crash that injured three people this afternoon. >> it happened around 3:003:0030

efland avenue. >> alissa harrington is live with the latest. >> reporter: you can still see the small plane that crashed into this house in san jose along efland avenue. it happened around 3:00. witnesses described hearing what sounded like a lawnmower. they saw that plane flying very low, out of control, turned sideways and crashed. the people inside the plane were badly injured and were taken to the hospital. 13 people live inside that house but only a few of them were at home at the time. none of them were hurt. now that entire household is displaced while the faa and other agencies investigate. it seems the plane suffered some kind of mechanical failure. it crashed right after takeoff

from the airport located just down the street. >> the whole front end of the plane is damaged, wink are bent. and for our perspective in the fire department. once the plane's on the ground it's like another vehicle like a car crash would be. and the home, the damage is to the garage. >> reporter: -- cause a fire. it left with a full tank of gas. police have secured the evelynn avenue did have to be evacuated because the plane was leaking fuel and because of other hazards at the scene, but those residents have since returned home. alissa harrington, abc 7 news. after an intense manhunt, two men are under arrest accused of leading police on a chase that left a motorcycle officer injured. it started with people casing

cars. it ended at noon on 280. we are live at the daley city police department with details. >> reporter: two suspects in custody tonight. that daley city motorcycle officer very lucky after crashing during a high-speed pursuit on 280. believe it or not, he suffered only minor cuts and bruises. >> we are very thankful our officer is okay. >> reporter: one of their motorcycle officers was very lucky after crashing during a pursuit on interstate 280678 police say this man and an accomplice were found hiding in shane o'neill's back yard. >> they found them hiding between two back yards and arrested them. >> reporter: earlier in the day, the daley city officer saw the two men casing parked cars at the shopping center. they took off and the officer gave chase.

>> the officer was injured. i lost control of his motorcycle as he was considering his pursuit at a high rate of speed. >> reporter: luckily, the officer suffered only minor injuries of the suspect's honda collided with this daley city patrol car. no officers were hurt here. both men ran from the car into the neighborhood where they were caught a short time later. shane o'neill says his neighborhood is normally a quiet place. the identity of the two suspects has not been released. cornell bernard, abc abc abc abc a dump truck overturned spilling its load on a busy road. both lanes on state route 121 were closed by that c. h >> it's considered hazardous

materials because of the ash and unknown materials within the fire. >> several members of the crew removing the material were wearing protective suits. the road is still closed. advocates for walkable cities took to the streets of san francisco this afternoon to honor pedestrians who have been killed or injured by cars. abc7 news was in the mission district as members of the bay area chapter of the families for safe streets organization marched to san francisco city hall. the event coincides with a worldwide event to call for safer streets for those traveling on foot or the bicycle. >> it was a hit-and-run. and he left and he didn't really get anything additional, because he left the scene. he left with her on the side of the road, and that really is what bothers me more than anything else. >> walkers today urged state lawmakers to approve legislation that would legalize enforcement

degrees. overnight tonight will be a wide range in terms of sky conditions. the south bay will stay dry. we'll see clouds continue to thicken. 50 in palo alto. but to the north you go, we will have showers moving through the region. >> light rain approaching the region and likely falling after the midnight hour. the storm impact scale used exclusively at abc7, we've ranked it 1-5. the next few hours, a one. and the best chance is the north bay for any showers to evolve. time out this system that scoots by to our north. future weather later tonight, 11:00 still tracking showers well to the north around clover daily. but the system begins to get its act together early monday morning. the time stamp at the corner of your screen likely has wet roads as the morning commute gets under way. not out of the question, south

of the golden gate, even oakland, parts of the peninsula to see a little drizzle early on. but the action looks to be confined to the north bay. that's a similar picture. by 9:00 in the morning we're tracking light showers in the north bay. and then it lifts back up to the north and is out of here by monday evening. expected rainfall very light in nature. future tracker shows the best chance nor rainfall clofor rain close to a quarter inch. the rainfall will be rather low. in fact, in the south bay, look at the 12-hour planner on your monday. it's pretty much dry throughout the day on monday. it's a mix of sun and clouds and a mild day, approaching 70 degrees in a lot of locations. highs on your monday, low 60s at the light bay. 60 in santa rosa. 65 in oakland. look at san jose.
