>> really nice lately. 50s and 60s. big e concern is getting to where you're going. look across the north bay. half mile to quarter mile visibility. look at these winds. they're blowing from north to south. and so we're already getting fog in the bay bridge toll plaza and also at the golden gate bridge. this changed rapidly. about five minutes ago. completely clear. fog through 7:00 for sure. look at that, 55-57 degrees. we'll turn over to hazy sunshine and mostly cluey. 68 at 4:00. another nice evening on store. 67 degrees. fog is the big issue this morning. talk more about the rain for the end of the weekend coming up. speaking of that fog, we are seeing it on the golden gate bridge and last time i looked. it was pretty thick. there's still an advisory. watch out if you're crossing

able to speak as first responders strapped him on a stretcher and loaded him in an ambulance. no wrd on tord yet on the cause crash. lawyers from michael flynn are no longer talking to president trump's legal team. according to new report this morning from the associated press. flynn's lawyers say they have stopped sharing information with the president's attorneys about special counsel robert mueller's investigation into the russian election interference. the decision could be a sign that flynn is moving to cooperate with mueller's investigation. >> president trump is spending the holiday at private club in florida. yesterday as you see here, he and the first lady met with members of the coast guard stationed nearby. the president said that he tries to make sure that the military equipment the us sells abroad is not quite as good as what the country has at home. mr. trump added, quote, you never know about an ally, an ally can turn. >> many people may experience

something extra on the traditional holiday menu yesterday. they provided people with foot washes. a pair of donated shoes. professional stylist to cut diners hair at no cost. >> you know how good a haircut feels for a female or man. you feel 100%. you feel great. so being able to cut hair for them is really humbling. it's a good experience for all parties here. >> that's a fantastic idea. city team group of volunteers helped serve 2,000 meals to those in need. >> if you thought you cooked a lot for thanksgiving dinner. think again. i want to introduce you to a woman who during the north bay wildfire cooked more than 3,000 meals in just one day. this is meredith elliot. so i was trying to think of what i could do. and what i can do is cook. >> 200 meals then quickly grew. she was able to get all the food donated. that's not all.

temperatures coolst along the coast. 66 in half moon bay. 68 to 69 for the rest of us. go inland. see 70s. fremont and palo alto. tonight we'll have some upper 40s in north bay valleys. inland east land valley. 50-55 for the rest of us. here's the next storm coming from the gulf of alaska. it will pump out pretty healthy rainfall totals as it comes in two separate parts. first one increases clouds and warmth. make another run at record highs tomorrow afternoon. by midnight see the yellows and oranges, moderate rain along with green, light moving into north bay. starts to move out of north bay 7:00 sunday morning into the heart of the bay. south bay a couple of hours later. out of there by 1:00. see scattered showers for the rest of the day. for both football games. could be wet and then next storm starts to roll in at 10:00 sunday night. get anywhere from a third of an

abc 7 news.com. calling his original sentence too lenient. pistorius now spend another 13 years in custody instead of the 6 years. the olympic sprinter originally received a manslaughter conviction for the shooting death of his girlfriend. in 2015 south african appeals court convicted him of murder handing him original sentence. pistorius has argued the shooting was a mistake. he thought there was an intruder inside his home. a new details this morning on the death of cult leader charles manson. go fund me has shutdown fund raising efforts to pay if the burial. manson died at a hospital in

backer's field on sunday night at the age of 83. the coroner is now holding the remains. the new york daily news reports manson's grandson in ohio raised nearly $1,000 before go fund me shut that down. manson will likely be cremated unless a family member claims remains by next week. senator member al franken says he plans to stay in the u.s. senate and win back the trust of the minnesota yans. accused my four women of inappropriate contact. in a statement yesterday, franken apologized for making some women feel badly and said in some of those encounters, he quote, crossed a line for some women and i know that any number is too many. spokesman says franken plans to speak further with media on sunday. another scandal involves john conyers. high profile washington attorney melony sloan tells nbc news that conyers verbally abused and harassed her when she worked for him in the 1990s.

sloan says on one occasion when she was called into connier's office he was walking around in his underware. more testing will have to be done before work can move forward on seismic upgrade and suicide barrier on the golden gate bridge. tests on this mod of the bridge showed it could become unstable during certain wind conditions. how to respond to winds once the suicide barrier is installed and seismic upgrades are finished. design changes will now be made to the project. many first responders aacross the bay area spending thanksgiving holiday away from their family to make sure your family is safe. officers at the chp office in martinez got to enjoy a holiday feast though. and the comradery of second family while on duty yesterday. all thanks to captain dan and his family.

they actually brought nearly two dozen officers a traditional thanksgiving meal. all because of a lesson he learned at a young officer. >> our captain came in and brought in treatingses on graveyard. i thought it was the greatest i think. i said if i become a commander, i'm going to do the same and pay it forward. >> he certainly did. paid it forward. officers said they take pride in keeping the streets safe especially on holidays. >> in the north bay, fire zones. community members came together to celebrate thanksgiving. many of them remaining thankful despite what they have lost. john opened his santa rosa restaurant and served free meals to victims of the fire, first responders and extended family. thanks for coming. thanks for being here and letting us provide something for you. >> what do you felt out of it. >> just to help people. >> we wouldn't have dinner, literally. or food for the day. it's a major blessing.
