scene. the farthest west of us there is a white four-door sedan you can see. it hit the citron divide and i learned a few moments ago that it happened after it left the eastbound lane, meaning it went over the center divide and not far from there are three other cars involved two dark colored psuvs and one overturned white sedan also going eastbound originally. and in that one car police say were all of the deceased. >> one of the vehicles overturned. the driver of that vehicle was transported for injuries. his four passengers were all pronounced dead on scene. out of the other three vehicles that stayed on scene, five people were transported for their injuries. >> reporter: chp is investigating. they are sure there was a fifth car involved. and the driver of that car left the scene. in the meantime one of the survivors is described as a juvenile, someone under 18 but we dent know how kwung.
