no one's looking! live where you live, this is abc 7 news. they rendered a verdict to the best of their ablgities. >> it was a verdict we were not hoping for. >> not guilty. that is the verdict reached by a jury in the shooting death of kate steinle. what happens next to the man acquitted of her murder is up in the air and tonight, the president is weighing in. >> now, of course, this was a surprising verdict. after six days of deliberations, the jury decided that he did not intentionally kill kate steinle and found him only guilty of e possessing a gun. he was a immigrant from mexico who was deported and returned to san francisco, a sanctuary city.
