temporarily blocked. we'll check back in a couple of minutes and the ramp northbound 101 to 280 there was an earlier accident there, too. we did see red sensors for a time but that has been patched up. we'll come back with an update. okay, right now b.a.r.t. police are still looking for three people wanted in a stabbing that left a man and woman injured at an east bay station. it happened about 9:20 last night at the hayward b.a.r.t. parking lot. both victims were taken to the hospital. police are still looking for three men in connection to this crime. the hayward b.a.r.t. station was shut down about ten minutes while police searched for the men. this morning the motive is still unclear and that search continues. i'll let you know when we get updates. 4:32 now.

hundreds packed san francisco city hall over the weekend to say good-bye to mayor ed lee. >> outside the memorial to the late san francisco leader continues to grow with many people leaving flowers and mementoes. ♪ he's got the whole world in his hands ♪ >> reporter: if the music was any indication mayor ed lee's memorial truly was a celebration of life. >> it's really fitting for someone i regard as a good friend. >> reporter: along with stories of his accomplishments -- >> our unemployment rate which had been nearly 10% when he took over is down to 2.7% today. >> reporter: and his impact on our community. there were recollections from his daughters of the man they called dad. >> sometimes it was through his texts that he would send us as he went about his day like an emoji of him doing a slam dunk.

they have reports of at least five homes being hit between 10:00 saturday night and 1:00 sunday morning. most of the damage we spotted was fairly minor. we saw burn marks on a wall and a few boards from a fence that also caught fire. the vehicle involved is described as possibly an older nissan sentra. happening today if you live in san jose you can report illegal fireworks as part of the fireworks ordinance work plan. the hotline is available today through the new year and will be open for the lunar new year and july for independence day. our media partner reports that anyone filing a fireworks complaint online will be required to submit evidence. fines start at $500. there have been more than 100 freeway shootings in the bay area since the start of 2015. today east bay leaders will take the next step to curb that dangerous crime. the city of pittsburg and contra costa d.a.'s office will install

the house and the senate are set to vote tomorrow on that massive republican tax reform bill. republicans are confident they have the votes to send the bill to president trump's desk before christmas. and right now abc news reporter arlette saenz is live in washington with the very latest. good morning, arlette. >> reporter: republicans are on the verge of passing the most sweeping tax overhaul in a generation and securing their first major legislative victory. president trump says republicans are days away from delivering the biggest christmas gift for the american people. >> this is going to be one of the great gifts to the middle-income people. >> reporter: who exactly will benefit from the gop tax plan? the bill slashes corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%, a win for big business. for the wealthy, it lowers the top tax rate from 39% to 37%. and for middle class americans, the plan doubles the standard deduction but it caps combined state and local income and

another update on senator mccain. doctors say he is responding well to his treatment for brain cancer. he returned to it arizona yesterday after being treated in washington for a viral infection. his family says the senator appreciates the outpouring of support he's gotten. natasha? >> we appreciate the update, thank you, jessica. recreational cannabis goes on sale january 1st. there's concern legal weed could be tainted. most of the current stash across the state was grown without regulatory controls, and that means it could contain pesticides, mold, and other contaminants. shops have six months to sell the current crop of cannabis. according to a chemistry professor less than 5% of medical marijuana is now tested. the owner of the carolina panthers is selling the nfl team as he faces allegations of sexual harassment. according to "sports illustrated," jerry richardson and the panthers made confidential payouts to at least four former team employees. the 81-year-old is accused of inappropriately touching female
