aro hill neighborhood. when police responded, he got out and ran. sky 7 shows some of the aftermath. a rookie officer on the force just four days, fired from inside the patrol car, striking o'neill who did not have a gun. >> you see an officer, unholster his weapon, put a sight mr. o'neill he was a coming toward him. and watching him all the way. as he got closer, he shot through window. >> the shooting was captured on the body worn camera but it was not immediately captured. the untrained officer traveling with the rookie. in addition, the lawsuit is demanding san francisco's district attorney file criminal charges. the d.a.'s office is one of several agencies investigating.

fire over the bay area. look at the size of this. it stretches from richmond down to free mont. the thomas fire is the third largest wildfire in california history. a south san francisco high school employee has been arrested for alleged sexual misconduct with at least one person. police say 31-year-old, a paraprofessional at the school, behaved inappropriate lly with student. police found out about and it investigated her after an investigation. she was then taken to jail. an all girls high school is face go more allegations of sexual misconduct of teachers. >> in new shocking allegations came out today. they are calling for a change in the leadership at the school. >> what this has done to my daughter's life, and my family, is nothing i would ever wish on anybody. >> she was full of emotion as she spoke publicly about the

thousands of kids in the u.s. have written letters to santa claus but santa is a little busy and asking for help. >> this is where the u.s. postal service jumps in. >> reporter: it may not be the north pole but the san francisco main post office is where many of santa's letters are read and sorted out. >> dear santa, merry christmas to you. >> what i really want is an atari. p.s. i will make brownies for you. >> and those kids who want to do it in person. >> a car. >> what kind of car? >> like a big car. >> this distribution center alone has received 1,500 letters but only those with the return address are included in the letters to santa program. a gift giving project that started in 1912.
