area. we're learning that a drive has been arrested. and moments ago we learned that a second person has been taken into custody. but still authorities there in australia are not saying whether or not this was intentional or it was accidental. as we take a look at the live pictures there, the aftermath of this investigation under way there in australia. >> that's right. that area is shut down. and of course investigators are already on the task trying to figure out what happened and we of course will continue to stay on top of this breaking story. moving on next to the next step for republicans after passing the tax plan, they're on the role of trying to drum up support. >> several companies announced plans to share the wealth. at&t among them, giving 200,000 employees $1,000 bonuses. wells fargo raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour. and boeing will invest $300 million in employee training and philanthropist. and comcast not wanting to be left out, they sent $1,000 bonuses to more than 1,000

desperately searching for a missing 6 week old baby girl snatched from her mother's home after her mother's murder. the infant could be with a woman presenting the kidnapped child as her own child. an amber alert was issued. the mother was found stabbed to death by a family member. fbi teams are also assisting with that search. and a 11-year-old boy is among those killed in mexico. a total of 12 people died in that tragedy that investigators are now blaming on driver negligence. here's abc's victor oquendo. >> reporter: the investigators zeroing in on the driver. a state prosecutor revealing driver negligence and speed may be to blame for the accident that left at least 11 injured and killed at least 12. but say the driver could not be detained at this time. among the dead, eight americans, including 11-year-old daniel behar. his mother anna and grandmother.

this man's brother-in-law and one nephew survived. >> they start crying. i can't believe it. i love my mother-in-law so much and my cousin. i love them all. >> reporter: according to mexican officials, the bus, loaded with 31 passengers, nearly all from two royal caribbean ships left dock around 9:00 a.m. tuesday on an excursion to the mayan ruins in chacchoben. 30 minutes later, the bus crashing on this narrow, two-lane road with no shoulder or guardrail. >> there were a lot of dead people. >> reporter: officials say the preliminary investigation indicates the bus driver's negligence may have led him to lose control before flipping, striking a tree and landing in vegetation along the side of the road. >> we just want to know what's going on. we just want an honest answer. >> reporter: mexican officials launching a potential homicide investigation.

royal caribbean refuses to comment on the investigation. both of the ships have continued with their itineraries as planned. the u.s. embassy in mexico now has staff at local hospitals to help with the victims and their families. victor oquendo, miami. a new report shows drug overdose deaths in the u.s. skyrocketed last year. more than 63,000 people died from overdoses in 2016. that's up 21% from the year before. two-thirds of last year's drug deaths involved opioids. the state with the high u.s. number of drug deaths was west virginia, followed by ohio and new hampshire. researchers say the growing number of drug deaths is responsible for dragging down the life expectancy in the u.s. for a second year in a row. and chipotle may be facing more safety issues. officials are investigating a possible foodborne illness outbreak at a restaurant after several customers said they fell ill. some workers were sick with the flu. the chain is struggling to win customers back after sickness

♪ how do you like your eggs in ♪ how do you like your eggs in the morning ♪ ♪ i like mine with a kiss ♪ >> all right, so insomnihacks time with dean martin and helen mcconnell, of course, asking that all-important question of how do you like your eggs in the morning? how do you like them cooked? >> i like mine over easy. but there's deceptively tough maneuvering to get them right, so i have some hacks to help us all out. >> oh, nice. >> one of my favorite breakfast foods is eggs over easy, and they sound pretty straightforward. flip the eggs over. go easy on the cooking time. but you also can't break the

yolk. and doing all that is not so easy. ♪ a good egg over easy gives you the best of both worlds, the nice runny yolk without all the snotty slimy stuff on top. but they should call them eggs over rare. it reflects the temperature of the yolk and how rare it is that i get one right. this is a mess. that is not what it's supposed to look like. ♪ but i decided to change all that with my new secret weapon. yep, just a pan lid. check it out. start by greasing the pan as you normally would. i'm going to use a little bit of light olive oil. and then set it to medium heat. you can crack your egg in right away, but i like mine a little crispy on the edges and you want to wait until the oil is hot. it gets thinner and moves more like water. crack your egg in the pan, put the lid on. that's it. if you feel like the top's not cook quick enough, you can add a couple drops of water. be careful. that will bubble up. once you see that white film

over the egg, you're done. look at that. no more overcooking. no more undercooking. no more chasing the egg around the pan and no more broken yolks. check this out. perfect crispy edge. perfect set whites. and the best part? that awesome, runny yolk. mm. the pan trick is pretty cool. but not everybody has a frying pan with a lid. so the next trick is to use the oven. preheat to 450 and throw whatever pan you're using in the oven so it gets nice and hot. you can use just a regular sheet pan for this. but to get a nice round shape, i'm going to use a muffin top pan. crack the eggs right in. set the timer to four minutes. kind of cool. you can watch the whole cooking process, or -- this looks great, thanks for helping me decorate,

frank. paper ornament, bacon ornaments. can't forget the chinese food ornaments. oh, eggs are done. ♪ take that out. six perfect eggs over easy. perfectly shaped, done in four minutes. if you don't have a stove or an oven, you can still make eggs over easy in the microwave, for real. get a small, microwave-safe bowl, add a little oil if you want, crack your egg in there. there's two parts to the egg white, the outer part that's thin and the inner part that's thicker. you want to scrambling that up so it's more of an even consistency. you want to make sure the yolk is in the center of the bowl and put the bowl in the center of the microwave, give it about 45 seconds and that will do the trick. looks good to me.
