these two guys walk into an elevator in brazil. soon after another couple come in. these two groups of people start chitchatting. 30 seconds later it appears maybe the conversation has turned. now the guy in the red hat and his girl are kind of looking away and looking off and waiting for this elevator ride to be over. we don't know what was said, but the doors open. the guy in the red hat gets off the elevator to allow these guys to get their cooler and leave, and they do get off the elevator, but they hold the elevator open for a while. when suddenly the one guy with the sunglasses comes in, swings. huge brawl erupts between the three guys and the guy with the red hat. you never know who you're dealing with because the kid 21 years old seems to take all three of these guys out. it escalates even further. >> whoa! everyone's pulling guns now? what is going on?! >> you can see another bullet ricochet off the inside of the elevator.

the doors close and elevator continues on its journey. the three guys involved in this are off duty police officers. the young guy, 21 years old with the red hat was a tourist. the off-duty officer in the elevator he beat up dropped that gun and that's when this kid picked it up and he says defended himself from these other off-duty officers. >> if i'm the guy in the red had i a hat i'm glad this video exists. they are the ones that drew down on him as well. >> i'm sure he didn't know they were off-duty officers. he probably thought they were people he needed to defend himself against. >> the officer on the ground was injured, shot in the right thigh. he's expected to make a full recovery. the 21-year-old man was arrested and released because reports say there was no clear evidence as to who kicked off this brawl. so right now he's not facing any charges, but the incident is still under investigation. one thing you americans love
