i'm spencer christian with a live accuweather update. our strong storm continues. we have moderate and moderate to heavy rainfall across the entire bay area. some of the heaviest rainfall is from marin county to the vallejo area. we have heavy downpours on benicia road, highway 80, highway 29, all the local streets are not flooded but they have pooling and ponding of rain on the roadways that will make for a treacherous afternoon and evening commute. this is a strong storm, ranking 3 on the storm impact scale. it will be heavy at times, wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour in the hills. there's concerns about flooding in the burn scar areas in the

north bay. this continues into the late afternoon hours and through the beginning of the evening commute. rain will continue, though it may ease up a bit in the south bay and santa cruz mountains for a short time. we'll have rain in the late night hours. a blanket of moderate heavy rainfall across the region until after midnight, then it eases up a bit, which is encouraging news for the morning commute. this evening commute is a washout. we have a flash flood watch for the north bay especially the hills until 6:00 tomorrow morning. we have a wind advisory in effect for virtually all of the bay area, especially the higher elevations where we may see gusts up to 50 miles per hour. there's concern about the possibility of downed trees and power outages. a closer look at this storm and the evening commute coming up at 4:00 p.m. argue.
