for the second time. >> reporter: the cardoza family is here tonight holding a prayer vigil, and as you can see behind me, 100 people have gathered here, they're hoping for the best, but know that time is running out for little camilla. doctors have declared her brain dead and there's not much more that they can do for her. they are keeping her alive so the parents can say one final goodbye and donate her organs. her 4-year-old sister died in the wednesday crash in antioch, her mother was injured in the crash but has been able to spend some time with camilla before she dies. >> we're hoping for a miracle, we have tonight and maybe tomorrow and we're going to do this prayer today and if a miracle happens today -- we're hoping for a miracle. >> his father said that he

much of the bay area, tonight folks in the north bay will see the first of the rain. >> those clouds have been thickening throughout the day and now we're starting to see some drops fall from this cloud in the north bay. we want to get you down a little bit closer into the north bay right now, where we do have those reports of light showers on 101, a bit damp in the reason, this is just the start of a very weak system that will be slipping in through the overnight hours, it's a 1 on the storm impact scale. outside of the north bay, those totals really slow up. we'll go hour by hour and show you that strong headed our way. students at the cardinal newman high school in st. rose

will reopen after -- students at nearby st. rose catholic school will also go back to class tomorrow and ceremonies to thank first responders on both campuses. weeks after a devastating storm and resulting mudslides shut down this part of the highway 101 in montecito, that is back up. caltrans tweeted this photo saying that drivers should watch out for worker s up and down tht highway. the government shutdown has had a big impact in the bay area. cornel? >> rporter: the ripple of this shutdown really being felt, the high street pier, home to the national historic park, maritime park has been closed along with a list of other famous landmarks.

it's pulling down cold air. you can see behind that front, we're in the 40s, in front of the front, we're in the 50s. the next 12 hours, we have that cloud cover overhead with showers starting in the north bay and sinking to the south. what that's going to do, it's going to keep temperatures a bit warmer tonight than last night. we'll all settle in the next few hours in the 40s. 41 that overnight low in napa. we do have some showers in the next 12 to 18 hours. so the storm impact scale right now, this is a light system tonight into monday morning. where we have the rain right now and where it will linger the longest in the north bay, that's where we expect totals a half-inch to an inch of rainfall. and a breeze from the southwest 15 miles an hour. watch a time scatamp the connerf

your screen. you can see a lot of that action still confined to the north bay. and into oakland as well. as you go into 6:00 in the morning, you notice the system really just falls apart. however, we will have some light showers to start off the monday morning commute. so prepare for some slick spots also, if those wipers are on, your headlights have to be on as well. the system by mid morning is pretty much dissipating to an isolated shower and quickly will move out of here. high totals will be to the north, up to an inch there. but in the south bay, those numbers are really struggling with this light system. a couple of spots around san jose really struggling to reach of 0rain. we have peaks of sunshine by the afternoon. 56 the high in san francisco, same in oakland, 60 in san jose,
