wind blew over this construction fence on people crossing street in the mission. a 68-year-old man is in the icu. the woman hit has minor injuries. police say a public works approved that construction fencing. the building department is investigating the incident. yesterday was the windiest day in san francisco in ten months. the wind also caused trouble in san francisco's pacific heights neighborhood where gusts knocked down temporary construction fencing. it happened at steiner and washington streets. the park is undergoing a renovation project. mike nicco has a look at our weather. >> the gusty winds will be around for the morning hours and they'll let up in the afternoon hours. we have an inside slider you can see bringing snow to the sierra. unfortunately, 3 to 4 inches at the most. a very dry system. what it's going to do is keep us breezy this morning near the

protect workers from sexual harassment, intimidation and discriminati discrimination. it says he verbally abused workers, threatening to kill some of them. his lawyers are denying the allegations. a shocking crime in san francisco. police arrested a man suspected of tossing a dog to its death from a parking garage. you're looking at a photo of a 4-year-old chihuahua. he died saturday after someone threw him from the 7 ft floor of the sutter stockton garage in union square. at first, the owner thought the dog escaped and jumped to his death. the owner discovered someone had broken into his car. a dashboard cam captured the crime. police i.d.'d the suspect and arrested him. this man is in police custody following a high-speed car chase that started in oakland. he led authorities on a chase across multiple highways before stopping near deerfield drive in antioch yesterday. that's where officers used tear gas and a canine unit to arrest

him. the man was want the for carjacking. they've not released his name. police want to spend $3.5 million to equip officers with stun guns. the money is in the $623 million proposed budget approved by the police commission last week. in november, they voted to implement stun guns by the end of the year. they're a less lethal alternative to firearms. critics say stun guns have a history of causing severe injury or death. lafayette city council will consider the next steps for an anti-war memorial. this display of white crosses on a hillside has been a fixture off deer hill road. louise clark founded that memorial. she died six years ago. her son, charles clark, is selling the five-acre lot and he's offered to donate the hillside to the city. officials apparently don't want it. the city council is going to discuss the issue tonight at the meeting. heads-up if you have to head to the dmv.

the oakland office will remain closed because of flood damage. as we told you last week, thieves stole copper, 40 feet of copper wire from the roof that caused water to cascade through the ceiling last wednesday and then flooded the office. the dmv hoped to open it today but had to push it back to next monday. one of the proposals will be spending $1.5 trillion to fix an upgrade infrastructure across the country. the federal government would provide $200 billion of that and state and local governments have to come up with the rest. the president's plan will call for slashing money for domestic programs. federal regulators are looking into how they missed the weaknesses of the tallest dam. they want the owners of the hydroelectric dam to improve safety. this is after the oroville dams

it's 4:42 on this monday morning. let's take a closer look at the sierra. a lot of snow showing up on the radar. 3 to 4 inches is as much as we're going to get. as we head throughout the rest of the day, we can see rain developing to the south around los angeles and san diego and even snow in the higher elevations there. it's going to be breezy through the, say, the grapevine. watch out going that way. here's a look right there. tahoe, the light snow. they're small snowflakes. it's coming down. smoul snowflakes, they'll turn into showers. feels like winter again tomorrow. 40s on wednesday. low 40s thursday. back to average friday and possibly another storm sunday. something to keep an eye on.

good morning everyone. i can tell you that right now all flights into and out of london city airport are canceled. it's all because an exploded world war ii era bomb was found nearby. it was tuned in the river thames. london police evacuated the area. 700 feet of the bomb and the royal navy has been called in to help. it's certainly somewhat of a bizarre story. i'll keep my eye on things throughout the morning. luckily, this is not affecting london's heathro airport, which is the big international hub. back to you. jessica, thank you. california's north coast vineyards produced $1.5 billion of grapes last year according to the department of agriculture. 464,000 tons were produced in the area. that's 8% higher than 2016. the report says the weather played a big factor in prices

they're definitely out there. especially along the coast. you can see on mt. tamalpais, we're getting that air mass that came in yesterday. we're getting the tail end of that cooling. it's a dry air mass. we're going to see a lot more sunshine today. clear tonight. seasonally cool. we're still going to stay a little bit above average, even though we're much cooler than we were the first nine days in a row we had record high temperatures. you can see this up into canada and bringing the canadian air conditioning towards us. the reason why, we're going to be cooler again today. let's talk about the temperatures. not much of a spread today. half moon bay at 55 degrees. pretty much, upper 50s in napa, vallejo, ukiah, oakland, san mateo and palo ool toe. everybody else 60 to 62 degrees. tonight, things will be cooler. the breezes will relax. the dry air will be in place. the lack of clouds will keep us from having that blanket effect.
