school here is closed through the rest of the week. the town has brought in grief counselors for students starting this morning. live from florida, maggie rulli, abc 7 news. in the last 30 minutes, we learned president trump will address the nation about the deadly school shooting. that will happen at 8:00 a.m. our time. abc news will have live coverage and we'll stream it on the abc 7 news app. in a new tweet the president said so many signs the florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled for bad and erratic behavior. neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. must always report such instances to authorities again and again. it appears a hero during the shooting has died. according to the sun sentinel, aaron feis protected a student by jumping between her and the gunman and pushing the student out of the line of fire. feis was shot. at first there were conflicting reports about his condition. we did see a tweet this morning from the football team that said

feis' family was notified last night he had died. in addition to being an assistant coach, he worked as a security gand and took his role very seriously. this is the 18th school shooting in 45 days. authorities say the weapon used in the shooting was an ar-15 militar military-style rifle. they have been used in the mass shootings in las vegas, newtown, connecticut, aurora, colorado and san bernardino. the rifle became legal in the assault weapons ban lapsed in 2004. >> we've posted this on our facebook page with the caption sending love. if you'd like to share it with the victims in florida this morning. the couple accused of killing a 19-year-old leaving her to die on tesla road is going to be in court today. >> this after an emotional outburst from her grieving family yesterday. amy hollyfield is live in dublin. good morning, amy. >> reporter: natasha, a woman stood up in court and yelled at the female suspect "you'll get

what you deserve." a very tense court hearing. here is a look at the suspects due back in court today. 19-year-old daniel gross and 25-year-old melissa leonardo. prosecutors say the two are engaged. we've also heard that she is pregnant with their child. they also tell us they knew their victim. they believe that gross is the one who stabbed the victim. she is 19-year-old lizette cues cuesta. police have not released a motive but they all knew each other. she was found bleeding along livermore's tesla road where she was left for dead. investigators say before she died she named her killers. her family says they are devastated but her father also has a message for everyone who has reached out to them. >> want to thank everyone that showed support for me, my family, my daughter. it went from family members to total strangers. we appreciate that help. the love and support and other
