increasing clouds by 7:00 rain over night a one on the storm impact scale and a more significant heads our waysdnesd. carolyn. >> lisa, thank you. we have developing news an urgent warning about immigration raids. from one of the bay area's biggest city, i.c.e. could start operations today. >> reporter: you may recall earlier this month homeland security raided 77 businesses in san francisco, san jose and sacramento looking for illegal workers. agents demanding proof that employers were legally allowed to work in the united states. in her statement, oakland police would not participate in i.c.e. activities. she said, we want residents to prepare, not panic.

the superintendent calling this a week of transition following the shooting that left 17 people dead. investigators looking into new accusations that three more deputies waited outside of the school during the attack. in the bay area, he is sickened to hear of so many missed opportunities vowing under similar circumstances his department will act. "abc 7 news" reporter katie has the story. >> reporter: bay already law enforcement is speaking out following the resignation of a school resource officer who failed to act during the mass shooting at marjory stoneman douglas high school in parkland florida da. since columbine in 1999 our training is to stop the killing and engage the suspect immediately. >> if there is killing that is occurring to stop it as quickly as possible to save as many victims as possible.
