live, where you live. this is "abc7 news." >> oakland's mayor is taking heat from i.c.e. agents for sending the alarm over immigration sweeps. >> they say she put agents at risk and alerted criminals. >> now, i.c.e. reported today many of the immigrants they detained are wanted for felonies and other crimes, included a man taken into custody in napa. >> kate larson has this developing story. >> reporter: cell phone video shows i.c.e. officers arresting a convicted criminal and gang member in napa this weekend. he was one of 150 people i.c.e. has arrested since sunday, in the central valley and northern california. all part of what i.c.e. is calling targeted immigration enforcement operations. the announcement from i.c.e. comes just three days after the

mayor of oakland warned of such raids. >> yesterday, i learned information from multiple sources that there is potentially an i.c.e. activity planned in the bay area. >> reporter: i.c.e.'s deputy director called out the mayor saying 864 criminal aliens and public safety threats were made at large, and i have to believe some of them were able to elude us thanks to the mayor's irresponsible decision. tonight, the mayor said she stands by the statement she made this weekend. it's oakland's legal right to be a sanctuary city and we have not broken any laws. we believe our community is safer when families stay together. >> what should be prioritized is due process. >> reporter: john rodney says she's skeptical about i.c.e.'s assertion that half the people arrested have criminal convictions. >> if someone does have a come vi -- conviction, that does not mean they're not part of their

community. >> reporter: i.c.e. says their operation is ongoing. kate larson, "abc7 news." tonight, san francisco police released graphic body cam video showing the barrage of gunfire that ended in the capture of a homicide suspect. [ gunfire ] as you can see, it was intense. no one was injured in this officer-involved shooting earlier this month. police say joel armstrong was inside the rv. eventually surrendered. police released the video during a town hall meeting tonight. police say armstrong fired two rounds and seven officers fired approximately 65 rounds after hearing gunfire from inside the rv. armstrong was captured the next morning after the shooting. too many close calls at airports, including sfo. and congress wants to know

where. a hearing was held today on capitol hill. >> if it had finalized in a tragedy, and if it happens in the future, we're all going to be held to account. >> he described how close an air canada flight came to hitting a line of planes when it almost landed on a taxi way in july.
