more snow and wind on the way. north central part of the country, courtesy of this low pressure system and it will bring with it locally possibly 18 inches of snow for pierre, fargo, minute, duluth and at least 6 to 12 in green bay. and then this storm will begin to drag some scattered showers over toward the northeast and then by wednesday, we are bracing for 18 inches of snow from bangor to boston, possibly close to d.c. >> so many of the big cities in the northeast will get a lot of snowfall. and there were protests across the country to mark what was supposed to be the end of the daca program. marches in d.c., dozens were arrested on the national mall and others inside the capitol. the courts have postponed the termination of the program which allows immigrants to stay here. florida lawmakers have okayed a bill allowing some teachers to carry guns in school and putting age restrictions on rifle sales. the measure was approved with bipartisan support by florida

state senate. the 20-18 vote came after three hours of emotional debate. the bill also creates a waiting period for buying guns. this is less than three weeks after the stoneman douglas high school massacre. the measure now goes to florida's house of representatives. and fights broke out at michigan state university before a speech by richard spencer. bottles and rocks flew as 500 protesters, some wearing masks, faced off with spencer supporters. spencer said no other group is treated with this kind of hostility. at least two dozen were arrested. the standoff between the state of west virginia and its teachers heads into its ninth school day today. lawmakers still can't agree to the 5% raise promised last week by the governor. the news angered thousands of educators. here is abc's david curley.

from virginia to maine, they are bracing for round two as residents struggle with cleanup. massive fallen trees ripping the ground apart pinning down utility wires. we've been coming across dramatic scenes like this one throughout westchester county which explains why so many people are still without power. nearly 400,000 in the region in the dark. people like mary ellen. >> we expect to be out until tomorrow evening. and then with the impending storm, i hope it doesn't happen again. >> reporter: in braintree, massachusetts, officials are desperate to repair two schools. >> i'm just glad that it was here. >> reporter: glenn is thankful his jeep kept this tree from crashing into his family's home. glenn's mom and sister were inside that part of the house. take a look at the scene here on friday, this tree came crashing down on to this car taking power lines with it and the crews have been so backed up, it took four days, it wasn't until monday that crews were able to come

here and finally extricate the tree from the power line. linsey davis, abc new, yonkers, new york. and this new storm isn't as powerful, but it could bring more snow. >> paul williams is getting the latest forecast for us. >> good morning. just how much snow, how bad will it get along 94, we could see 6 to 12 inches at the least where you see the darkest of blue which includes duluth, minneapolis, fargo, pierre. we use see locally up to 18 inches in some areas. that same storm system began to power toward the northeast, but we will have dry air in place on tuesday, but wednesday and thursday, here is another nor'easter for the northeast and we're looking major problems with power and perhaps minor coastal flooding. >> just what we needed. and there is talk of another storm come monday. but one more note about last week's powerful storm that hit the northeast. the impacts have also been felt in the caribbean.

these are waves that have now reached puerto rico and the virgin islands. waves as high as 20 feet pounding the north side of puerto rico and some families have been forced to evacuate. breaking news in california now, five people including a 3-year-old girl are hurt after a knife attack on board a greyhound bus. police said theresa held the child at knifepoint and stabbed the little girl's mother and other passengers. she is now under arrest. the victims are expected to be okay. police say she is recovering after stabbing herself in the neck. the attack happened north of bakersfield as the bus was heading from las vegas to oakland. and now to conflicting statements from former trump campaign aide nunberg. he now says he may comply with a subpoena from the special counsel and even suggested that he might give up his e-mail password. he spent the day nunberg defiantly declaring that he will not cooperate. lana zak has more. >> reporter: good morning.

and granted donald trump caused it because he is an idiot. >> reporter: even contradicting the white house's position on the president's knowledge of that russia meeting at trump tower. >> president trump says he knew nothing about the meeting. do you think that is true? >> no. >> you don't think that is true? >> no. >> reporter: the white house discounting nunberg's comments. >> he hasn't worked at the white house, so i can't speak to him or the lack of knowledge that he clearly has. >> reporter: nunberg responded that he couldn't care less what the white house thinks of him. he also said that he believes that investigators just want to, quote, harass me. and a dozen executives have been evicted from the trump international hotel in panama after a business dispute. workers pried the trump name off of the highrise. the move was initiated by the new owner, but the trump organization is vowing to fight it.

amazon wants to expand into finance. they are in talks with big banks including jpmorgan chase. they want to offer a product similar to a checking account. the product could give amazon a bigger window into its customers' income and spending habits, but sources close to the talks say the product would not involve amazon actually becoming a bank. and a nor'easter left behind a rare sight along the coast of maine. it is a skeleton of a 51-foot ship that experts say dates from between the revolutionary war and the civil war. >> it was first seen in 1958 and is usually buried under sand. the wreck only emerged when powerful storms move enough water and sand to uncover it. >> the last time it was revealed is about five years ago, but it was likely be covered again very shortly. >> luckily there is another storm to clear it all out. >> great news.

a girl was left on a chair left dangling about 25 feet in the air. her mother was screaming for help as rescuers gathered below. she fell to the ground and she is okay. >> good to know. and here is another frightening scene this time in california. that is a 5-year-old girl dangling from a lift, her instructor was holding the child by her hoodie. that caused the girl to pass out because her airway was cut off. she did eventually drop on to a tarp and suffered some bruises, but she is also expected to be okay. very scary moment there. so three employees of a daycare center near chicago have
