here with signs. they are feeling like they were hurt and they made a difference today. the board decided to put this issue on the next board meeting's agenda. that was after they made passionate statements this morning. the issue wasn't even on the agenda for the b.a.r.t. board this morning. but dozens of outraged speakers made sure the death of celine tindle dominated the agenda. >> why isn't he on the agenda today? why is he not on the agenda today? >> reporter: body cam video shows what led to the death of tindle. b.a.r.t. officer responded to shots fired outside the b.a.r.t. station two months ago and saw two men in a struggle. he screamed for them to show their hands, and then fired three shots. killing tindle. his family says he was murdered. >> he was on the ground, on his knees, trying to get up after being in a scuffle with somebody

who started an altercation with him and he was shot in the back three times. >> reporter: speakers called on the board to pull the officer from duty. >> we want to hear your logic for why that man is still walking the streets of our cityings and town. why is he still on the job? >> reporter: b.a.r.t. officials say they followed all policies before returning him to duty two weeks after the shooting. he's now on desk duty due to threats on his life. the oakland police department is still investigating the shooting. these friends and loved ones, including his mother, say they will keep speaking out until something is done. >> i'm here to ask once again just for sahleem tindle, the life i have given birth to, the life i cherish, the life that i love. >> reporter: the citizen review board is also planning to discuss this at its next meeting. the oakland police department

welcome back. let's talk a little about the newest drought monitor. it came out this morning. remember the big soaking we had last week? let me show you the difference between last week and this week. this week on the left, last week on the right, no difference. all that soaking rain. the only thing it did was slow the progress of the drought. at least here in the bay area. you can see down around southern california, see that little bit of red that's developing around los angeles? that is the second highest drought moniker we have. things are getting much worse down there. take a look at things closer. it's just the north part of sonoma county and marin county that aren't in the drought. just abnormally dry. will we get more rain? possibly this weekend and next week. will it get rid of the drought? probably not. temperatures right now in the

low 50s, upper 50s in clear lake. everybody else is in the 60s. it's kind of humid outside, too. feels like a spring day down in the south for some of us. tonight, patchy fog, moisture in the air, a few clouds and it will be cooler and an active pattern which means more rain is coming. here's a look at what's going on at the golden gate bridge. the clouds will continue to melt from noon through 4:00. make sure you have the sunglasses. temperatures in the mid-60s at both of those teams. we'll be in the 50s by 8:00 and start to dip into the 40s by midnight. it will be cooler and dryer in the overnight hours. up in lake county do we have a chance of scattered showers. lower to mid-40s for the north bay. mid-40s to about 50 for the rest of us into san francisco. plenty of moisture out there. as you can tell when you step outside by the humidity. look at the flow of clouds coming up from hawaii. there's just not a trigger

mechanism yet. but that will change this weekend. we wake up at 8:00 saturday morning. not much going on. as we head towards 4:00, you can see the showers spread northward during the evening hours. all of us touched by rain saturday evening. overnight through sunday morning. by sunday afternoon, they should take off. so, at 4:00 saturday afternoon, nothing measurable. by 10:00, everything's going to be dodging some drops as you head out. let's see what the final tally will be. looks like a quarter to half inch with greatest amount of rain in the south bay. least amount up in the north bay. how often does that happen? accuweather forecast i pegged it at one on the storm impact scale. set your clock ahead saturday night before you go to pedestrian. sunday, just in the morning, there's a chance of scattered showers monday, a better chance of rain tuesday that will linger into tuesday. >> you know i love the sunshine. we'll take that rain. when you show us the information about the drought, it's amazing how little the rain we got
