"abc 7 news." >> we are learning more about the attack on the program and the people who worked to help him. state senator says wong needed him beyond what the pathway home could provide and was referred to other services. the women he killed were likely targeted because they were the ones closely involved in his treatment. warrant out for his arrest. they say the man took off running and that's when an officer open fired. the suspect had been taken to the hospital and his condition not known. police say he is 40 years old from antioch. a man suspected of shooting two officers killing one of them is in custody after a 16 hour stand off in pa know ma. following a chase friday night, the gunmen shot an officer through door and in at face pulling his comrade to safety. the suspect gave himself up last night. the officer is 30-year-old gregory and pa know ma's chief of police say he will not be forgotten. >> it is a sad day for the police department and our community and a sad day for law enforcement in general. our officers were out doing what they always do. putting themselves in harms way

a man saves a woman before her house goes in flames. on bel-air avenue in san jose before 11:00 yesterday morning. the man says he heard what he thought was car crash. went outside and saw the home split in two. he called out to see if anyone inside and heard a woman respond. >> i was able to be in there long enough to get in and out. i was in sandals and shorts. in a moment like that you don't feel or see anything. >> about 30 seconds later, the house caught fire. both him and his neighbor are okay. >> she was fine and stable, but definitely, as you can imagine in a fair amount of shock. >> he says the woman is in her 70s and 80s and told him she was in the bathroom when the explosion happened. the cause under investigation. californians back to their old habits. reporting after 5 years of

developing news out of the south bay. firefighters investigating a fire at a mountain view. the crew is working trying to put the flames out. unclear how many cars were damages or destroyed. we have calls into the fire department about more information on what may have caused this fire. the former trump campaign aide finishing six hours of testimony before a washington grand jury yesterday.
