embryos. it is possible the eggs and embryos still may be viable. >> we're not saying this tissue is lost. it may be affected, and we have to acknowledge that, but our hopes are it will be minimal impact. >> reporter: the doctor says they're already trying to prevent this from happening again. he said this is an extremely unusual event and he said he and the other doctors at the clinic will be contacting the affected families in the coming weeks. >> a story we'll continue to follow. now the exact same problem happened at a fertility clinic in ohio on the same weekend. the american society for reproductive medicine says nothing like this has ever happened before, but the issue

on the board of the treatment center where the shooting happened is very concerned tonight got how to move forward in helping vets. chp investigators were back at the pathway home building on the veterans home campus where friday's shooting took place. a memorial of flowers and cards continue to grow here. veterans who live on campus are being offered counseling. >> they got the crisis trailer over there, for us to use if we need it and people do need it. >> reporter: three women who were working at the veterans home were killed by army veteran albert wong who stormed the building and took hostages. executive director christine lober, jennifer gonzalez who was pregnant and therapist jennifer golic was also killed.
